No ornaments here yet
sent mine out yesterday,4 for each partner. love all the ornaments coming in. |
Kiffie, I know the feeling of working for your mad money. DH works anywhere from 40-60 hours a week. I then get his paycheck and get so infuriated when I pay the bills. Never seem to have enough to make me feel comfortable about spending extra. Dont get me wrong, he never says a thing about the extra I spend on swaps and such but it does in fact make me feel quilty about it. I keep thinking I can be stashing that money away for an emergency or something for the kids. Then I have to tell myself, Michelle you only live once and spending all this time worrying about that silly $3 you spend on shipping a swap is ridiculous. I guess its just part of the journey. I will say though I cant wait till I hit the lottery and dont have to worry about it anymore. When that happens watch out board because Im gonna blow it up signing up for every single swap I can find. LOL

No ornaments here yet either. So hopefully this week I will get some.

I haven't seen an ornament, either, and only saw one of my partners saying they received their package.

Thank you Jennifer (tiltedears) I received my burlap ball orny
and I love it think it is totally adorable. Now to keep it away from "the dude" aka Gizmo and his sister Nim. They have taken to trying to steal all my ornaments, mug rugs, and doll quilts off my walls in the hall which is where I hang everything. Thank you again. Louise |
louise, you need to make the fur babies more toys, then when your goodies in the mail, you san slip them one of their new toys you made for them. my furbaby thinks that everything that enters the house, is HERS. hopefully, Monday, I see some of my ornaments coming in. I just can't wait.

Lynnie,
I have TRIED to make them their own toys. They just ain't ha[[y with anything unless it belongs to me. I did try making stuff that looked like what I had received and hung it on the wall for them to "attack" no go they HUNTED for mine until they found it..... hanging from my "pincushion" rod (on the ceiling. You could smell the smoke from Gizmo burning his brain trying to figure out how he could get up there to all tha hanging pretties. LOL it is still funny watching him think that over...for days. |
Louise, don't we get so much enjoyment from our fur kids. I love watching them try to work something out.
they're just so darn stinkin cute. if I get you next time, i'll put something in for Giz from my Zoey. oh, by the way, she's looking for a new boyfriend. The one Patches,(ginger kitty) who had a leather jacket and a motorcycle, isn't allowed to ride it in the cold weather, so she's looking for a boyfriend who drives. Her other boyfriend Zazzles, a long haired black tuxedo has a helicopter, but she complains it's cold up there in the winter. she's 3 1/2 yo, but looks younger, all grey and very diva-ish and prim and proper, (at least in front of us). she's looking for someone who is playful, enjoys her love of bacon and blueberry muffins and stinky cheese, and drives. she would prefer a two seater, and someone who doesn't "TOMCAT" around, if you know what I mean. if he proes himself to her, she will give up the other two gentelcats. She also doesn't want someone who goes crazy on weekends with the catnip. Been there, done that, no guys fresh from rehab. Her favorite pastimes are hanging out in a warm sewing room and inspecting quilts. If you think Gizmo has what it takes to wait on a princess with well manicured paws, let us know. |
And just how old is Zoey??? My Pixie is almost 10 and she is a quiet Lazy kitty, actually a fraidy cat.. Maybe I'll get you and can send her a quiet little gift from Pixie or maybe Louise will be my SP...
