Deb- you mean after all this time you haven't taught hubby how to sew yet ???? LOL Thanks for the extra block - that is so sweet of you :)

Im so excited to get the blocks! I cant wait to see them all
|
No Sharon, he doesn't sew. In fact, a year or so ago I had done some stippling....so the feeds dogs were down. Hubby thought that he would try (?) to hem a pair of pants. He was upset because he thought he had broken the machine. I never let on......as that cured him from ever messing with my Janome again!

HaHa Deb I really laughed out loud :D
|
Deb I think I remember you telling us that before - but still made me laugh :) Silly man ....

Sure I've forgotten at least once that the feed dogs were down. Or that the zigzag width was not on zero, so the needle was not centered. Or that the machine was on any stitch other than straight. Or what the stitch length was. And every time, I thought I broke the machine! And I've only been sewing for fifty years.

Received the beautiful blocks just now in the mail. I am so glad I signed up for this swap. Thanks to all who participated. I can't wait to put them all together.
Great job everyone!!! |
To all my fellow swappers great job. Thanks Deb for another wonderful swap. Now all you swappers should be in Deb's next swap. It looks hard but believe me it is not.
|
Oh ladies I love evry block. I can't pick a favorite. Well done ladies and thank you!! See you in the MerryGoRound swap!!

They are all so nice, I can't decide how to lay them out. Or sashing. We should all post finished pictures. And, confessing to a lack of stickies, this is the block I made. It is a a kite, so make your kite tail anyway you want. I tried a few different things, but didn't really like any of them. http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/...s/03e087be.jpg
