Glad your mini arrived before Christmas Teresa! I wanted to put a little extra special effort into our hostess' mini! So happy you like it. I never know exactly where it will end up until it is completed because my quilts tend to morph several times before done, but I do like the final result on yours. Merry Christmas!

i wouldn't really call it a pattern, lol. More like extemporaneous quilting! :D

I just finished piecing this one. Have no idea how I will quilt it. Quilting is not my strong suit.

Cogito, I work that way too. Both your forests are so creative. I will start with a pattern but then somewhere along the way a fork in the road takes me down new paths. A fun way to create.

Here is the back of the mini I am sending to Jan. This is a piece of end fabric from a drapery shop and It waited a long time to find the right quilt to use it. :D

Won't go in the mail till Friday, so it is going to be a new year forest. It is almost on its way Jan!!
