I received a very nice SP package from Lets Quilt today. I got cookies ,9 FQ's, 3 pks. of needles, Marking pencils, measuring tape, candy, cashews nuts, Quilting magazine. And the two things I wonted the most 5-in-1 Sliding Gauge by Nancy Zieman, and Sketch Book THANK YOU, THANK YOU
|
Nice pkgs all! It's too early for me to wait on the bench but in the meantime we woke up this morning to at least 49 degrees! Now for some that may be warm but for us in SWFL that's a bit chilly. I won't complain since it makes up for the summer's humidity so I enjoy it and it brings an ambiance of the holidays for just a bit. Everyone have a great day! and keep warm!

Juanita you are so welcome glad you like everything. I always have fun with this swap.
|
Awesome package, Juanita! Cookies AND Fabric, lol, you can't beat that :)

Verna -- The Texas one is from me. Last month I think? October at the earliest. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I've been in 6 swaps this month and my brain is fried. If you absolutely need to know the month, I can search the computer. Let me know.

Home from the hospital, was there for 7 days. I have had urinary infection for over a month and none of the antibodotics were working. They gave me levaquin for 3 days(until the culture came back) and come to find out that the bacteria was resistant to levaquin. So had to have IV for this killer drug that is really harmful to your viens. As one turned bad they had to move to another place. I look like a bad junkie with all the bruised veins I have. At least I am all caught up with the thread now and had to say that everyone is doing a good job of sending in messages to let me know that they mailed and that they received. Please keep it up! The packages coming in are really nice. People seem to be happy with what they received. Since i have been in the hospital and unable to shop or sew I have not mailed to my sp but I promise I will get it out very soon.

Oh Lori! It's not been your year............... Try and take it easy over the festive season. Here's hoping the New Year brings you good health and happiness. :)
|
Lori I'm glad your back home and you have gone through so much this year. As Knittete said, do take it easy and rest as much as you can. With the holidays approaching we all need to slow down and just breathe. I'm sure your SP will understand. {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}} SENT YOUR WAY!
|
Take care Lori. Glad you are no longer in the hospital.
|
good thoughts going your way Lori....hope the rest of the year is better...Merry Christmas

going back and getting MRI on spine tomorrow with and without contrast. Knee doc won't do anything else until I do this and see a back doc. Thinking maybe something from my back is interfering with my knee getting better.
|
Hugs to those in and out of the doctor lately. Take care and think warm, happy thoughts :)

Sustraley is going to keep me busy for a few weeks. Yarn, dividers & stitch holder for knitting, embroidery thread, a book by Patricia Cornwell to read, some pretty colored ftqtrs, and lovely pieces of white on white, a pad to keep myself organized. Then of course there was candy and some socks, and a few other things. A beautiful package and I thank her very much for it.
A note for a lady way out in the northwest part of the country--Your package is making its way through snow & wind and will be there Saturday. Merry Christmas to all!!!!!!!!!! |
Thank you so much!

I received an amazing package from homecaregiver a few days ago. I am sorry it took so long to post pictures. I have issues with my home computer and I had to find some time at work! Fabric galore, magazines, aquilting book, pens, notebook, Christmas ornament, sewing kit, a pattern, a hanging holder, watercolor pencils, skin and hair products, those little sticky things for your ruler, a Chritmas card, and a long letter! I am sure I missed something!
It is all laid on on my dining table and I will carefully put everything away carefully! Thank you for your extreme generousity! Gaijin |
Wow, 5 magazines, Lucky you! really nice packages coming through.
|
Postponed my MRI until the 26th, on account of heading out of state for the holidays, sure don't look forward to the long drive though. Here's hoping it doesn't hurt real bad, the drive that is, but we are going home for the holidays, getting to see all the grandkids and my sister too. Staying with her, I call her SissyPoo and I sure do miss her.

I received a fantastic pkg from Quiltymom, who is becoming a frequent swap buddy with all the swaps we both do (lol). She outdid herself -- all very useful (templates, rotary blade, patterns, pins, seam guide, beaded tree ornaments, beaded stilletto, and LOTS of brick and strip scraps! Thank you so much for a great surprise package. Oh - and there WAS (very past tense) a Hershey bar as well, so just imagine what it looked like. I love the fabric she made the coasters and mat from.

I would join you, but it's a little early for me. My parcel (which I posted on the 5th) hasn't arrived yet. Could it be for one of you bench sitters? :p;):D

Quiltymom, your Mr and Mrs Claus are wonderful

I just checked on the tracking for the packages I sent last weekend. They are slowly -- very slowly -- making their way to their destinations. Delivery date was yesterday on both of them, but they've just cleared the regional centers near their destinations. So, maybe tomorrow?
|
Thank you Teresa and Grandma Peg.

I am off the bench, thanks to Shamrock who sent me a wonderful package ;)
Start drooling cause she sent me some scrappies from her Civil War quilt so I can add it to my own pile of fabric. I also got some lucious coffees, which I will be using on Christmas Day. And a beauteous little tree! She did a fantastic job on it and it is going in the front of the TV :) So yeah, mmm..drool on over my Holly Jolly Java Bark Latte! Thanks so much Shirley!
