I have completed a red daisy print cat, and a purple pig both are 9 1/2 inch blocks . I also have an alpaca wearing sunglasses and a bow tie, which is a 12 1/2 block. Now I just finished a blue goat which is also 12 1/2 size. I have some more work to do on them, they are good looking farm animals. I have a Spring Chicken with heels and a purse.. Pattern, I will attempt this weekend. I hope to be completed by next weekend.

Hi lawsonmugs. Yes, your sets must be identical. I hope you plan to join us!

All sets of 4. You can do 5 different animals in sets of 4. So 4 of you will receive an alpaca.

Oh, Such a fun swap. Not sure about joining yet.
I do have a question. How are the things like whiskers and eyes treated. Do they need to be stitched or are permanent fabric pens allowed for the tiny detail? Thanks! |
Hi ladies~ I've been briefly checking in from time to time this past week. I've been ill but still trying to get some sewing done and I'm hoping to work on my blocks tomorrow. Wish me luck!
Oh I like the idea of the details with a permanent fabric pen but feel free to embroider if need be. I love the ideas and I can't wait to see pictures! |

Pulled out some fabric for paper piecing some mice. I tried to pick out some pretty colors. Have them trimmed down a little now and plan to start sewing tomorrow night!

Well folks, I had a fire at our cottage over the weekend, and I am going to be busy with that, so I am going to bow out of this swap and only do the other two I was already promised on.
I'll be watching and checking in from time to time, so please post pictures, so I can get ideas for when I have a little free time to make one of my own. Hugs Chris |
