Joan, are you ready for this storm that is on its way? we have had about 5" of rain today and the eye of the storm is about an hour south of us. Guess it is on its way. Might have to use the treadle this weekend if the power goes out. Hope all is well with you and your family.

I'm all ready for it. It started raining here about 2 hours ago and it's not supposed to be too bad until tomorrow. As long as my sump pumps keep up with the water I'll be fine. I really glad we put the generator in a couple of years ago just for this kind of event! You take care.

I woke up this morning and we have power, water, gas, cable so all is well in my little area of the world. They say the winds are to be bad today and may cause trees to uproot causing power outages, but so far all the trees on Main St are still standing. Hope you do as well thru this storm. Keep us posted.

We are supposed to get the worst of it from noon to midnight today. Hope it isn't too bad.
