Lunch today with the girls then... perhaps names? Mountain time here so maybe 3 pm I will start giving out names however the swap itself closes at 8 pm mt so if you would like to join us I can gladly add you to the list and pair you up nicely with another swapper. Currently I do not have a partner so there is plenty of room for last minute join ups! ie ME :)

HE GOT THE JOB!!!!! WOO HOO!!! He started today. He had to be there by 7am and he got there at 6:30am. The rule at his company is anyone who is late...better buy breakfast for the WHOLE office...and NOT the $1 McMuffins... LOL!
He was on cloud nine last night!!! He is SO excited!!! :D

We had a great evening and dinner at Red Lobster. I must says that 42 years ago, it was much warmer. We had a cool day yesterday, high was only 64. It is still August, isn't it???? LOL! Waiting patiently for names to be given out. I so need to get back to sewing something! I am ready for my house just to get back to some kind of normal. Plumbers will be finished today. Then nothing happening until we decide just how much redo that we want in the basement. It was totally finished basement. I don't think we will redo all of the walls this time. We are waiting for the contractor to get back to us with estimates. So making this runner will help with my mental state! LOL! Laurel |

Congrats to your hubby on the new job!! I completely understand why he was on cloud nine!! Congrats on your anniversary! Sorry about having to spend in the mess of renos!! My anniversary is tomorrow but I am a long ways from your expert years!! We are celebrating 16yrs! The bonus for me is we have no kids right now!! Quiet dinner together! Hurray!!! Next Cheesehead those are beautiful fabrics! I love the idea of a bargello with them!! Great idea! It should be great! I have not picked any fabrics yet since I kind of wanted to see what my partner wanted! I am good to go with fall or Halloween! Whatever choice my partner makes!! I love seeing all the links that are being posted! What great ideas! So now we are only a little while from getting names!! Woohoo!!!! |
