I'm still thinking on this. Don't know what block I want to use. So many good ones have already been taken. Since there are so many we can repeat a block that someone else is doing can't we? The fabrics will be different.

i love your bearpaw.

i have burgundy & gold in my blocks so we'll blend together quite nicely.

At this point we have at least 48 sign-ups. So duplicates would be fine.

Fall colors have never been my favorite....I live in Maine & it leads to WINTER!!
But seeing the blocks some have already made.
I can see it's going to be great!!

That should work. We have 50 sign-ups so there should be plenty to keep us from getting duplicates in the swap. Although, you would be getting one of each of your sets.

Count me in.....I won't forget the deadline.

Becuase its my Birthday. The last one before the big 50, and to think as
a kid I was sure I won't live to see 19....the mind of a child...lol.
I still don't feel as old as I thought my mom was at 35, and I really was
thinking she was old....

Ok, count me in too. I think I will do a "folded box"
still trying to decide on the pattern and fabrics. But.... I have some really pretty fall fabrics that have purple in them!! Be prepared for a touch of fall purple!!!

Chickadee and Texas quilts, I am your age too. I will be 49 on the 20th of September

quick question. You want our name on the block on a piece of paper, you do not want us to actually put our name on the block itself? It is kinda fun to look at the quilt later and see a small name of who made the block.

On paper for sending. Each individual can then put the names on their actual block if they so choose.

OMG! I'll be 48 the day after you! (9/21). How cool is that???

I, too, have some great fall fabrics with purples/burgundies/golds/ deep emerald greens, etc. in them. So, try to scare me with your purples...it won't work!

WOW~ This is going to be so much fun! I LOVE everyones blocks so far! I still haven't decided on a pattern yet but I do have it narrowed down. I am so excited! I love Fall!

I have a quick question though, if I make more than 12, do they have to be a different pattern or the same pattern?

Your second set can be another set of the same block (same block/same fabric or same block/different fabric) or a different block altogether - your choice - as long as it is another set of 12.
