Thank you for your kind words. As for the Dresden quilt, your idea sounds great. Go for it Reba if you feel it calls for it. The pumpkin quilt was taking off side ways and between Kathy and I we decided to go this route. She will be the next one to work on the pumpkin quilt. I have really enjoyed bouncing stuff off her and getting ideas.

The 12" blocks look great. Thank you so much for your design expertise. Love how it's coming together.

Turtle Encircle Border 4 done and in the mail
 

All done on the 30th. Mailed on the 31st before the post office closed. Nothing like the last minute to get things done.
Border is supposed to reminiscent of waves breaking on a beach and is made with batiks like most of the rest of the quilt. This whole quilt is stunning in person--the hubs even likes it--and he's picky! Good job everyone! Happy Holidays, Merry Everything and Happy New Year!!

Hubby sent flamingos out yesterday. It is amazing with a little snow western Washington shuts down since no one knows how to drive in it. I was unable to get a good photo.
