thanks lets quilt I do have you down on my sorting sheet for two just blew it here (too good to be true getting it all right in one easy posting!). No other complaints almost ready to start dividing up your names and will mail them out to you tonight as many as I can then finish up on Monday a.m. if there are more to send out still. It takes a bit of time importing your names from your registration to a PM to a partner, one for each registration well.. cut and paste cut and paste.. oh goody!

I have frog fabric!!! I almost sent it but didn't know if my partner would like it or roll her eyes at me!

You might go to your partner's profile and see if it gives you any hints, like mine says I don't like novelty fabrics, so honestly I would have probably rolled my eyes at you. If I had frogs that I wanted to send it would be for a 6th FQ. Beautiful shamrocks, etc. I would have loved just don't care to "kids" type fabric cuties if that makes sense. I always try to remember to write a little note and I always send an extra FQ but that is just me, like a little present. You'll be able to tell more when you see the pics coming in for this month. And there are lots that just send the 5 which is fine, some may add a candy bar etc. Just wait for pics and then next month you can decide what you want to do.

I would have loved frogs lol.. we all like something different. I like novelties.. a little bit goes a long way and fq's are the perfect forum for novelty fabrics. If you had green cats I would have loved those too lol.. (put those with the Halloween pile yes I would). so send what you love .. and extras are 100 percent optional. Most send a little note with theirs. Make sure you put your name and your board name on that note so your partner knows who to thank please. My notes get written but unfortunately half the time they stay on the counter to be found after I tape an envelope. I usually hope my name on the outside of the envelope will help someone figure it out. I am that bad. I am getting ready to mail out my f4's today too. Expecting negatives in the low -20 range tomorrow so doubt I will hit the post office then.. way too chilly for these bones! ok it beats snow. rather be chilly than snowy .. weird. :)

Mailing mine today!!! Here are some clues...

First package is going to zip code that equals 19. Just got back from the P.O., my swaps are in the mail and on their way... with tracking numbers. Just wondering, ladies, have you decided on a pattern yet? I'm thinking a Granny Squares on point, or cut bigger squares, then do a Slice and Dice, inserting a black sashing, or maybe the Spinner? (not sure of right name). Eager to see some more photos... that fabric with frogs?, give us a look-see! Mine eyes are hungry for green, but guess what? Under the snowbank, the lambs' ears are still green.

Got my fat quarters today and will be mailing them tomorrow, one is going just a little west of me, and the other one is going far north west where it is cold!!

I think we did a free form once it was what we chose, it was fun...I could not find any St Patrick's Fabric so my girls got gorgeous *green* so that's all you have had to have said...no St. Patrick's...we listen :) if we know...hope you come back next month :)

Yosamitesa you come up with the funniest of facts :) I think our city is a bit smaller than 58,000 by about 48,500 so I guess :( its not me. ha ha I know its not me for some silly reason.. oh yeah I gave out the names!

I love lambs ears! that soft sage green. My kids used to go out and pluck away those little leaves to ..PET THEM. Thankfully its a hardy plant that propogates rather well. Within one year my whole hill was covered with them a perfect foil for my azaleas. Boy do I miss flowering plants.

Its a -20 today again with a high of -6. I have to go to the clinic today. Our doc only comes down from Montana once a month and you have to go on the day they come in. Ugh. I would rather stay inside and sew all day and not venture out. I did it yesterday at 6:30 am and have to do it tomorrow. I vote they come down and see us on OUR clinic days sigh.. that would require thinking I suppose. Now everyone has to go out in this. I feel so bad for the horses I see outside. Wow where is their shelter? ok I ramble :) nothing new however.

I will twiddle my thumbs waiting for those fat quarters to arrive. I bet there will be some really fun and surprising fabrics. Here and there a surprise! I can do that!

Tell you what Sewellie. How about everyone post a pic of the ugliest yard of fabric they have. If anyone is interested in it and actually likes it well you could do a swap for that fabric! equal yardage for equal yardage. And you also could post pics here for us to see of what you did with the fabric once you got it. There was some swap like this a year ago trading uglies and what did you do with it that was the deal had to make something with that ugly fabric. I would be really scared end up with monster truck fabric or something like wrestling men. yikes.

Cant wait to see pics of the pretties being sent this month. They should start rolling in shortly. Mailing mine today since I have to be out in this weather. ugh not so excited its currently -22. and not warming up rapidly at all :(

I received both of my squishies today! I just noticed that they are very different, one set is very bright greens and the other is soft greens. All of them all beautiful.
This first set is from Bullock2us, don't you just love the little green cabins in the woods? I will have to think carefully about how I am going to use that one.

I would love an idea of a freeform. I will also have to see how my classes are going. I am slowly working my way thru them but they are taking a lot of free time away from me. I love to see all the fabrics exchanged thought and will be back again later.

I received my lovely green fat quarters from Ellie Motznet (aka Sewellie) today. Thank you so much - they are lovely. Also included was a Idaho pin, some white trim. I tried to insert a photo several times but was unable to get it to work.

few more have arrived home! yahoo! so far eight pairs have made it home that leaves a whole bunch more yet to come! cant wait to see your posts!

Both of my partners have received theirs. Now to stalk the postman tomorrow...
