Fiestypixy that is a very pretty mini you got from Jeanne. I started out the same way, and just keep going to see how I can improve as I go along. You will do the same, and everyone is very nice here and mean what they say that they will love what you send from your heart. Sometimes we can be concerned about do we have extras to include, but that is just what some choose to do, but like the others said it is not a requirement. Whatever you make will be just fine. If you want to do your best then just have fun, and that will be your best.:)

My car is turned sideways in the driveway! Sooooo needless to say I did not make it to the post office, but we did have a lot of melting. We had several layers. I don't like the mud that is lurking under that, but if we get rain they are talking about then very hopeful to get everything in the mail and check my mail Monday. (I can't wait until warm weather) I also hope we get the rain before anything else has a chance to hit us. My nephew and his brother in law cut up the tree across our driveway yesterday, so that is a relief.

My sweet partner will definitely get her mini from me as soon as I can. I am a worry wart. Can't help it. The county next to us still has people without power. I feel for them after all this time. Kids in the county have been out of school for awhile now. They will have making up to do when they don't want to. We have so many back roads that buses have to go through with many getting no sun that it causes many problems in the mountains. The school director won't take any chances with the safety of the kids so school just has to be made up later. Most of the time the snow days allowed in our school system is enough, but this year has been extreme for us. All will be fine soon though. :)

I mailed my mini on Thursday, forgive me for not posting. I was a bit behind on a few projects.

Isn't it pretty. She pieced the Irish Chain. How appropriate is that? She not only pieced it, but pieced tiny tiny little blocks. Such nice work, and nice quilting. I aspire for this someday. I have in my plans to someday attempt a bed size quilt making the Irish Quilt Blocks.

I tried my best to get these other beautiful things in a pic. She crocheted I think versus knit a very nice cloth, a very nice set of her hand made coil coasters wrapped in twine with a tropical flair to counteract my snow and ice (lol), a beautiful card with a nice message, and a very nice pad for what I will add lists to on my refrigerator. The list pad at the top which I couldn't seem to get in the pic has a pretty St.Patrick Theme to it. Each one of these nice and thoughtful items will be used in my home. Deb you are very talented, and a great swap partner. Thank you so much for all you put together in this package.

I will not be in the present mini quilt swap, but certainly will be looking in and seeing all the beautiful minis in the making by all the talented girls here. Have fun girls!!!

Patchesnposies (Deb) thank you for your kindness. Missed you too. Yes last night we got rain and so it kept the melting going. Today we could get down the hill, and back up. lol... Watching the weather a few minutes ago, and they are saying another storm coming from west to east. I don't know who all will get hit by it, but hope everyone stays safe and warm.

I received my Mini today and it is a winner. J_cody did the Cathedral Windaows block whick is a favorite of mine. I just love it Joni. The cathedral looks white but it is a light greene. Ignore the paperwork, I thought I cropped it out. Oh well, forgive me

Patches when I first go on to the swaps and post I don't see my feedback score, but after someone else has posted then I see it. Hard to explain. Or also maybe it shows up with our last message that has been there at least earlier.

This is so cute. I love it. Isn't the green, black and white sharp looking? I received my mini this weekend. I'll get a picture of it and post it. It is the cutest and got an Irish girl plaque with it. To me it was done perfectly. Oh I must not forget the pieces of gold with it also. Thank you so much Teresa. I will enjoy putting that out every March that comes around.

Oh I received a lovely mini from Tesspug. We were beginning to worry about my po. Our weather caused them to stop deliveries. Look at the pretty dish clothes. I've never seen this design. They're so soft I may just pet them, not use them!! Button magnets too. So cute! (I think I don't do enough when I send my things...)

I've been quite busy the last couple of days working on projects in my "March Must Do" piles- got an old quilt top completed quilted out yesterday and started working on the continuous binding, shortened dh sleeves on a fleece top, made a new recipe for dinner last night and was able to sneak in some time to work on dgs sock. I have several projects I aim to finish up this month so I can hop back on the swaps next month.

Finally got a few moments to catch up on the Mini swap. Wow, lots of nice pieces have come in over the past couple of days.

J_cody, your Luck of the Irish mini is sweet, and totally loving your socks!

Sistahdebbra, your mini just pops with those gorgeous embroidered shamrocks. I bet that piece is a looker in the real.

SheriR, so glad you got it. I was beginning to worry. DH didn't get a tracking number, so I couldn't find it. He does a lot of things for me, but not always perfectly. We have two colors of gravel in our yard. One in the front and one in the back. The back had wholes that needed a redo. Yesterday he got a truckload of the wrong color. Gotta love 'em.

Oh such pretty minis.

We have had a lot of rain, and down our hill I see flooding. If it comes all the way to us, then we need to hop aboard Noah's Ark. :D That is what my husband once told the insurance people who insisted we had to have the extra flood insurance.

We are under another winter storm warning for later tonight through tomorrow. Rain changing to sleet/snow/ice/snow/dropping temps. Oh Boy! I am imagining green grass, with those little spring flowers popping up out of the ground.

Jeanne49 that is a very pretty mini you received from fiesty along with beautiful fabric. The back is so pretty, and that very nice label reminded me that I forgot to add that on mine. I can't wait to see your bracelet too. It sounds so pretty. I like bracelets.

SheriR that is such a nice/pretty mini you received from Tesspug. Those are such pretty dish cloths too. You and I both have a dish cloth that I also just want to rub mine. lol...Those magnet buttons are cool. I had not seen any of those. Don't let my husband see them. He loves magnets. I guess because around his computer he hangs up everything with them, but he uses magnets for anything and everything.

That is a beautiful mini. I love the card, too. I have looked and looked for coins! Where did you find them? I couldn't even find chocolate coins.

I am still waiting to hear my sweet partner got hers due to some postal problems. I also filed a complaint with the usps, and it is being followed as I heard earlier today from the lady who took care of it. She wasn't happy, but then we weren't either.

We received more snow and ice, but I am hoping it won't last as long as the other one. We have power this time so I am happy. lol...

I'd like to share with you the lovely package JuneBillie made up for me this month. Notice the awesome gold stitching she did in some of the blocks-she said those blocks represent pots of gold <giggle>. Wasn't she creative? She included a mug rug, a handy note book and a precious card with a very thoughtful inscription.

hello everyone, just got phone call that my sewing machine is ready, I'm so excited to get going on the sewing. I was afraid to ask how much it was going to cost!
