I have had my secret pal before, but look forward to putting together a nice package for her again! She did not state too many preferences, but I will use my imagination!

I have a person I haven't ever sent to before. This SP is a long distance from me. I ordered something special order so I will be cutting it close to the mail date to receive it to include it with their package. I just wanted to get something they had on their "wish" list.

My pal also lives a long way away :D;)

She and I have a few things in common - we like the same fabrics, both do something as a hobby (and don't do something) and don't want to receive the same thing.

However, she does something that I don't do any more and I have something she doesn't.

I mailed my parcel off today for the February Swap-it's to someone who lives waaaay South of me-but then almost everyone is South of me!

Things are awful quite here.

I finished a small project for my sp yesterday and will be packing it up today or tomorrow. I'm excited just to get finished and mail it off. Hope everyone has a great day, we are supposed to get snow flurries.

I stopped at the LQS and picked up some fabric for my SP from one of her favorite designers. It has such a feel of spring to it. Now I do want to get something made, and I will be working on that this week so I will be ready to mail by the deadline. My goal is to mail out by Friday so I don't have to make a special trip into town to mail on Sat.

I'll be making something for my SP this weekend too and will be mailed. Don't worry Lori I'll let you know. This will be the first time I make this and may make one for me too.

Everything is packed, sealed and ready to deliver. We had snow last night and since I have an appt. for a mri and will mail on the way home. Lori, I will get in touch tomorrow and give you the tracking #.

I received an awesome package from maryc13 today. Had another book in my series I asked for, fabric, touch screen stylus, body lotion, blocks, McCalls dvd, keychain, stiletto, clips, patterns, 2 clear traveling bags, scrapbook decor, and a heart shaped pin cushion. My package went out Monday. Not sure how long it will take to get there. It has to grow wings and fly. lol Anxious to see everyone's packages as they come in.

I mailed my package today. It is going NW of me to a state I've never visited, unless you count changing planes in the airport as a visit. The temperature there today is 20 degrees colder than us and they will have a mild freeze tonight. The package should arrive Tuesday.

I thought I posted a message but can't find it so here goes again. Mailed my package to my SP today. She is a very respected member of this board and I had her either as a SP or she had me as one a few years ago. Due to surgery on my hand, I was limited on what I could do but seemed to get it done. Hope she likes what I was able to send. My package is definitely going West and maybe North and maybe South. Due to Monday's holiday it will arrive on Tuesday hopefully. I also forgot about Valentines day, There is candy but not valentines candy. Sorry

I received a wonderful surprise package from LindaR, everything was great! A new seam ripper, Yea! Mine was so dull. An oh so cute new sewing kit she made, i love those for my travel projects. Some new purples-- I'm on the lookout for purples.
also a quilt journal and other,beautiful journal. A couple magazines...a handy, never seen before little clip gadget. I took pictures, but can't get them to load, working on a new computer ( iPad) assuming I need to learn how to resize -- will work on that-- everything is wonderful! Thank you so much Linda!
