You did just fine Juanita. Welcome to the swap! I hope you have alot of fun. If you need a 2 1/2" template or want the set of free templates I send out then you need to send me your postal address in a pm. You will need a 2 1/12" to make these quilt blocks. I also suggest you go and check out the "Blocks" my shortcut blocks so you will have an idea of how these quilt blocks go together. You'll find the link in my first post on this thread.

1.Ask away, we aren't shy about offering help. If you want easy ones at first, start with the blocks with just the HST in them. They go together fast.

2.I suggest finding the old threads in this series (I think I've been playing along for a year now?)- the pictures of people's completed 12 1/2 in blocks are included in those threads. Great for inspiration and ideas, if all of Rhonda's pics aren't enough. But some of the threads showed several people picked the same block, and how they each look with everyone's interpretation and choice of colors.

Hello everyone, How is the quilting going this month. I've alost finished mine. Had so many mistakes YIKES, however I was very CAREFUL and fixed each one. Will be ready for send off Monday. I am always so amazed how Rhonda's blocks jsut come out to the T AS LONG as I cut right and sew with 1/4" seams and NOT scants. Hope everyone is having fun. :) By the way Rhonda, cute picture of grandson. One could line your grands up with 100 others place you in the center and pick out those belonging to you hahahaha merry oh

Okay everyone it is that time of the month again! LOL I need some progress reports if you please. If you could just send me a pm with how you are doing or if you have received or sent I would appreciate it!! Thanks everyone! Hope you have been enjoying the swap!

Thanks Cheryl we think Colton is a cutie too! He is so much fun but takes alot to keep up with! LOL He has twin brothers who are 8 and I usually have them and my DGD Rachel 9 here when Colton is here so I rely on them alot to help keep up with him! LOL

I've not received mine yet. She is going to make it tomorrow. As of last months swap, she said it is being sent. I was concerned she recived mine so sent another e-mail. as yours, your know me, no hurry. Excited as I will be receiving 3 at about the same time. wahoo. I again am makng the dugout but a different one. You have so many beautiful ones it is difficult to make a choice. I sure wish more joined in the swap, The blocks are so different from anything one will find anywhere else. I love learning. The reason I am sticking with one design right now is learning to save all the material I can, then I wish to actually make a quilt. By then I'll have a idea of how much material to buy yea ME. Rhonda, I cannot say it enough, I love your designs and if I can sew your blocks anyone can. I've only been quilting a little over a year. You make me dance the happy dance. :) :) HUGS

Cheryl I have your block finished and it is in the mail. I took a picture of your block and will post it to the thread once I figure out how to do this. Can someone tell me how to upload a picture to the board please?

Stitchengamie --- in case no one has responded regarding how to download your photos.....


Start with the quick reply box and type your text message then click on "go advanced" at the bottom of the box. This will take you to a screen where you'll find near the top left a "browse" button. Click on that button and it will take you to where your photos are saved in your computer. Find your photo and double click on it. The URL for the photo will be added to the long narrow box next to the browse button. Now the most important part----scroll over to the far right of the screen across from the browse button and find the box that says "upload." Click on that button and it will add your photo URL to a box a little further down and to the left (I think it appears in bold letters). This could take 30 seconds or so to appear. DO NOT PREVIEW YOUR POST BEFORE SUBMITTING IT. IF YOU DO THAT THE ATTACHMENT WILL BE DELETED. You can "browse" again and add more than one photo to your reply if you want to. Once you are done attaching photo(s), click on submit message and you're done.

If you get a message that the photo is too large or needs to be resized, I can't help with that. I have not had that happen yet so haven't had to deal with it.
