These blocks are so much fun. I have some ideas in my mind. I really would like to participate, but I'm in the middle of renovating a 140-year old farm house & moving ASAP. I need the sewing time to keep me sane, so that might have to be my excuse. A funky chicken wall hanging would be so cute in the new house!

TiltedEars~ I do hope you can squeeze out some time to make some chickens! They are quite fun! ;)

Oh where and oh where have my chickies gone?
Some time ago I drew out and gathered the chicken blocks I wanted to make for this swap. I have been looking for two days and I can not find them any where. They are doing a good job hiding but I am not so happy about this game. Maybe one more day and then I will start over.

LOL Thank you Beth. It did not help but I was up to two drawing new ones out. I washed fabric that is now ready to go in the dryer.

So Anna, do we have some pictures for further inspiration? How is everyone else doing on their blocks. I have the one set done, trying to decide on which other ones to make. So many to choose from.

I feel tempted to post but I first want them sewn down before they fly away. LOL They are ironned on right now.I have a rather big pile I need to applique as I am doing the farm block swap appliques at the same time. They look happy and colorful. Is that enough to wet your quilty appetite?

Sounds delicious. Oh, we can't eat these chickies, they are to "funky".
