Oh the Witches are so cute. All of the blocks are turning out great.

They are all moda, rjr and the one patch with the witches is from the swapper in the UK. Makower UK?? I don't know how to spell it. LOL.. It is really nice fabric. Highly detailed and cute.

OOoooOOOO LOVE Halloween! Is this the same swap as last year? Or a new hostess?? Everyone's blocks are beautiful and making me double check my schedule to see what kind of time I have.

Hi IrelandDragonQ, Yes, this is the same kind of swap as last year! My daughter's big birthday is Halloween, so it's a big deal at our house. I thought I'd try my hand at being a hostess, something new for me! Hope to have lots of fun with everyone! :):):)

Here a few samples. The Cat is 9 1/2 square, the Tree is 9 1/2 by 6 1/2 and the interlocked squares block is 6 1/2 square. If these are ok, then I will make sets of these. I also have more in mind. I may do 6 different sets.

javin I love your spooky tree, & black cat the best! The interlocked squares would make a fun filler block.

Oh my goodness! Everyone is doing such a nice job on their blocks! I say go for that set you have started too javin. They are really nice. Muse and sew, that is one great house and kitty too. THat cat is really only 3 1/2 " square? WOW!

I have finished the spiders today. Well ... except for the borders. Thank goodness! I won't do that for a swap again, that is for sure! I am cutting out a set of eye of newt bottles now. LOL.... Do you think the bottle should be green or blue?

Muse&Sew , thanks, I will make those first 3 then. I see you did a cute spooky house, it is great. I just did one up also. Your tiny kitty is so detailed. Wow!

Wow I just love all the blocks so far. Very cool... Looking for some fabric to do mine. I don't have purple and really need to use what is in my stash. I'm still looking and hopefully will join soon.

Ok, great. I will do these 6 sets then. Put me down for those. I may do the minis, but I will finish the main blocks first. I just finished the interlock squares filler blocks, I switched up the colors and I like them better now. I will be switching up colors for some of the other blocks also. I need to go shopping for more fabrics. I just had small amount of some of these. Sew much fun!!! :D

OK here is the green bottles of ghosts and poison. Had to half and half on them. I hope that is ok with you all.

I don't think I will be able to do the others for I haven't found any fabric that will match what I wanted in my stash. I found these Halloween print ones and decided to give it a whack. Okay awesome I will join. I know you've been waiting to here that. I absolutely love Halloween and passed up on the last swap and didn't want to pass this one. Not sure how many sets yet but trying to go for the full 6 sets and some of the twist. I will see what I can do. Thanks for hosting.

I am working on my last two sets. Can't find the blue fabric that I used for the sky in the haunted house. I just had a scrap and don't know where it came from. I think it was the scrap swap. I really like it and would like to find some more. I found some star sky fabric, but it is silver stars. I don't think it looks as spooky. Might have to use something else if I can't find more of the blue, but I will look for a bit.

Alright I finished my 6 bigs sets and did three tiny sets and one left to go. So I am in for the 6 and 4 sets. Thank you

I just told dh I thought I would not sign up for any more swaps for a while, try and get some stuff finished around here (of course this excludes the monthly fq swap :thumbup:). Plus my lqs has our annual Top of Texas Shop Hop coming up 3rd week in July; I still need to finish the shop BOM sampler quilt and several small quilted gifts for giveaways. However, every time I am checking in with Brat' s table runner swap and monthly fq swap I see this swap and hesitate.. I did the Halloween swap last year and loved it! Plus in the last few months I have acquired a lot of super cute Halloween fabrics.. I am very tempted to sign up... I mean aliens kinda could go with Halloween, they also go with ufo's...so my ufo' s make me kinda "alienish" and appropriate for this swap! Glad sign up is until 1st part of August; see how much time I have.

I joined you all. I finished my 6 sets and so far finished 3 sets of the little ones. Now I will get the 4th done and send them out early as soon as I get an address. Hint hint....

Yes been real busy I finished up 4 placemats a hot pad and a table runner using Dresden's. I did 9 Dresden's for that then finished up with a Dresden swap of the month so 12 more there and of course needed 24 more Dresden s to make christmas gifts. Then making a block puppy quilt. Half way done with that and seen this swap and miss out on it last time. So I got in full gear and made them so I didn't miss it. I love Halloween! Now I can continue on with the other projects.:)

Yippie! I posted in the looking for section and 3 people have that blue fabric with the yellow stars that I used for the haunted house block. So soon as one of them sends it to me, I can finish my blocks. They are the last set. I finished the other 5 sets. I am so excited that I can get some more of that. I searched for something like it and nothing would come close. This site is awesome. :D
