Elaine

I was going to do a count later on today and possibly do a preliminary layout. There are still a few blocks in the works (here and elsewhere).

As to the size....I have no plan yet. Call me rudderless in CA. lol

All I know: It will be perty!

[quote=MadQuilter]Those embroidery samples are beautiful. I may well take you up on your offer.[quote]

Just lmk, i'll be happy to do whatever you need!

[quote] Right now I am still fighting with my camera. [quote]

Try pinning them on a wall under a good ceiling light and then put a lamp w/o the lampshade on a chair or something under it. Be sure to use your flash even if your camera doesn't want to. No shadows that way and you aren't bending over it getting too close on one end and not close enuf on the top.
It works well since i don't have a photographic studio!

Thanks Jae,
I have never had problems taking pictures before. When I use the flash it totally washes out the color. Weirdness abounds.

BTW: I did a count and I have 24 blocks finished.

Good morning everyone...Here is a picture of Kennedy Joiner and her mom Ginger and her little Brother Glendon. Kennedy is doing better she has started wearing a urine bag alll the time instead of catherizing several times a day and it has benefited her Kidneys( she was having some problems with kidneys not growing and so they put the bag so her kidneys could have a rest so to speak) Just thought everyone would like to see her smiling face.... Thanks to everyone who is helping with the hope hands quilt for Kennedy. Thanks to Madquilter for taking this project and running with it.. You are an angel....

It's up to you, amma, particularly since you already sent your contribution.

I am still waiting for a few who said theirs were on the way (or in the works).

Earlier today, I sent an email to Ginger to see if she and the kids want to participate. I had written to her before, but she may have missed it since she has so many other (and way more pressing) issues on her mind.

I thought they could send some color pictures that could be scanned or transferred.

I will whip up some more and get them in the mail next week

So I did a quick preliminary layout just to get an idea. I think it will be just happy and fun. What do you think?
