If either chele or sdparent decide to host another I spy 5" square swap -

I liked doing the three fabrics cut into 40 squares - it's fun getting that great variety back - that seemed to work well -

or if people wanted to cut back on the expense, maybe just two fabrics cut into forty squares.

I feel that if I'm going to pay for postage two ways, may as well make it worth while!

I hope we stay with the 5" format

Seems like there is interest in doing another one. Anyone going to make it official?

I'd like to play, but I'm heading out in 6 days so would be unable to host(ess) such an event.But I would like to participate.

Seeing there is so much interest in another one I will make it official and start the new swap, look for the new post. Just a quick tip for those sending squares if you do 2 sets they fit well in the small flat rate box at $4.95. Look for the new post.

You beat me to it sdparent! How on earth do you get two stacks of 120 squares into that little box? I tried and tried. The box is only 9" wide, so I couldn't fit them side by side. And a stack of 240 squares was too tall. I had better luck with the flat rate envelopes, but the box would be so much better. Show me?

The tyvek envelopes work well too. I didn't care for the paper envelopes that were being sent, I was afraid that the squares wouldn't make it back to everyone. And then there was the post office who frowns on tape, NO TAPE on Stamps allowed, wow they were so nice about it, LOL.

I used the Tyvek envelopes. Postage cost less than using the flat rate envelope.

They are very sturdy - don't know if they can be purchased in small amounts - I think I bought a box of 50 or so at Office Depot or Office Max. They do cost more than the paper ones, though.

My squares came today, too. Haven't had a chance to look through them all yet.

I got my pretties today also ! And as soon as I finish stuffing my face I will open them and enjoy ! THANKS Chele :thumbup:
