Gee, I am sending enough for two: four light fall colored fabric charms packets with 20 in each one with the twist of 20 in each one (total of 80 twice); four medium fall colored charm packets with 20 in each, with equal amount of twist fabric of 20 in each packet, (total of 80 twice) and four dark fall colored fabric 20 charms in each one plus the four twist charms with 20 in each. one (Total of 80 charms twice) And I think that equals 480 Charms plus the 'extra' ones in the box. All counted and each packet of 20 has a ribbon around it securing an 'all together packet' of each. I hope everyone enjoys their charms. Its like a special Holiday package coming with delightful colored charms in it. It will be very exciting when it happens, I think, and I am looking forward to that time.

We don't typically trade in dark, medium, and light (although it's possible) and the fabrics don't typically come in fall colors. Also, we don't usually send charms for our regular sets. A set is 20 squares and they can all be cut from the same fabric. Owlvamp trades them around, so each swapper ends up with one square from each of the other swappers (assuming there are 21). You CAN send 20 different fabrics, but it won't matter because the other swappers will only get one of your squares anyway.

Maybe you are doing a charm swap? How big are your squares? The I Spy squares are 5"

, Yes, thank you. Owlvamp has said with a twist....and the Kylie's Farmer's Market fabric portraits food. Yes, I have made the "I SPY" quilts,in fact I am working on one now. All mentioned fabric are the five inch square charm size for the swap. I offered to buy more 'wheels' like what I am working with, and Owlvamp said it was not necessary, so I used up what was in my stash. IF you go back in this thread, you will find my photograph of the fall prints. IF it is a problem I can still do 'wheels' , e.i., cars, trucks, sports and so on.

If you all decide you do not want fall charms, tell Owlvamp to tell me and I will not post the package to Owlvamp on the first of November. I can use them myself, without posting them and paying to get them back. No hard feelings. Enjoy the swap.

My left eye cataract surgery went fine; I can see better now. But the sore on the side of my nose caused by a nose cushion on a pair of glasses stopped the surgeon from removing it. He rescheduled me to come into his office to have it removed, saying it looked 'cancerous'...so we made an appointment to do that before Thanksgiving. After I help rescue two cats in Central Missouri who need a new home. Owner is moving into town from her farm. We are set up and ready for the new boarders.

I'm sorry and hope it isn't cancerous.. Hubby had both eyes done and is doing wonderful now.. I will keep you in my prayers..

Owlvamp, mine are finally on the way. Very rough week with Mom. But I did discover it is possible to get 240 squares (6 set, 6 twist) and 3 pillowcases into a padded flat rate with careful folding of the latter. Next swap is not till Jan, right? I will need to fabric shop before then!

Yes next swap wont be till next Jan. Once I receive everyone blocks i will probably just swap them out. I was hoping for more to join but with the holidays and so much to do i'm sure it's getting in the way of swaps. But it's okay will just have some doubles and triples... Not much I can do but go with the flow.

owlvamp, forgot to post that my charms went out Wednesday. She "thought" you would have them by today. I "thought" she was full of __it because the day before was a Federal holiday and my little package would be set aside for more important stuff to move first. LOL Anyway, do you have any idea what you will have as a Twist theme? Just thought it might be nice to know with holiday and end of the years sales just around the corner. WHERE did the year go? Can't believe we only 6 or so weeks left before the new year.

Owlvamp, I don't care either way, as I won't sew till Jan so I will go with whatever you decide.

As to a theme for next time, I have plenty of "thing" fabric, but I am very low on character/cartoon/action(Snoopy, Garfield, Superman, Smurfs, Disney,etc type fabrics, and generic actions likekid riding a bike, bear surfing, etc) so would LOVE a character twist.

Also, if you think about it, I forgot to take a pic of the pillowcases I sent, if it isn't too much trouble can you take one? (you could just post it here and I can snag it). Thanks!

I also am good with whatever. I am not in a big hurry-so whatever everyone else is good with so am I. Quiltingdragon's idea of a character twist also sounds good to me.

You know I'm easy. Anytime that works for you, works for me.....I just appreciate your doing this.

I don't mind duplicates. I also don't mind waiting. So either way works for me.

As for twist, what about people? Or can be combined with Characters, as mentioned by Quilting Dragon. Like athletes, astronauts, cowboys, superheros, fairies, etc.

Since I am not sewing currently, I can wait until you (owlvamp) are ready to send us our surprise package of charm sized fabric back. Whatever way is decided it is fine with me.

Christmas rush of mailing will begin after Thanksgiving Day...a lot of mail for the postal service to handle. Just a thought to consider on shipping times.
