I guess I'm the really new member and a new quilter. I thought this would be fun and that I would learn a lot. I've been sewing since my age was a single digit. Can't wait to get started, my center is done a disappearing 9 patch. I will post a picture as soon as I figure out how to do it. If all else fails I get my daughter to do it for me.

I think I finally figured out what my center is going to be. With help from my quilting genius. YAY!!!

I just saw it too...I like it. I finally figured out what I'm gonna do so I might get started on it tomorrow if not then sometime this week. But I still need to hear from a couple more ladies.

Mine center is just about finished....just a couple more things to stitch down. I'm hoping to finish it up tonight and post something for you all tomorrow. However, I broke my finger so we will see how long i can sew with it on. Thank goodness I only have this splint for 3 -5 more weeks! and I don't have to wear it all the time which helps.

OMG...What happen to your finger?

I was playing baseball and took a line drive off the tips of my fingers, bent two fingers back and broke one knuckle. So now I have a lovely splint on it but at least its just a splint and I can take it off..... i just have to tape my fingers together when I'm not wearing it

Those who have International addresses, PM your reciever and ask if it's ok to mail ANY rounds that are done early. We know it can take a bit longer to get from overseas to US.

Those who are US, ONLY mail this round early. The rest of the rounds PLEASE mail on the mail dates. If you will be traveling during a mail date, PM your reciever and ask if it is ok to send early.

We don't want tops to be piled up on people with everyone mailing early.

OMG....That sounds so painful. I hope they are healing okay. You take care of yourself and when you sew....sssseeewww ssssllloooowwllllyyyy....LOL

the sewing isn't really an issue at least straight lines aren't. but of course I wanted to do some paper peicing and I shouldn't have done that!

I don't think so...Never heard of that before...BUT...We do still need to come up with a name for our group.

hi girls, heres my block. its 19X21.. i had to finally just put it together, i was wearin it thin, changing those blks around.i thinks its pretty neat, that we hAVE OUR OWN LINK,aren't we specialllll..can't wait to get started on all the blocks. i just read that going or coming from Canada, takes alittle longer so i;ll mail mine out tomorrow, the 30th..now i have to go back and look for everyone and thier blk...later, molly

Three's A Charm or Sisterhood of the Traveling Quilts

Everyone's center is looking good. I have mine done but having a friend doing some finishing touches on it. Then I will share what mine looks like.

Between those two the sisterhood option. The other one sounds fluke there are only 3 people in it but that just my opinion.

I vote for Sisterhood of the traveling Quilts.

Get started on that center lil girl....LOL I just visited my friend tonight to figure out the last touches on my center and the label. I should be getting it on Friday so then I can finally post my center. Can't wait, I'm so excited!!!!

i have to have help with a label ,maybe tomorrow, then i can mail mine to "ripped on scotch", i'm ready to get the game agoin........molly
