I know that I will! I'm a little bit further behind in the process than you are but I finally decided on a plan, I've sketched it out and I think it will do nicely. I did decide to stick with Nebraska, where I currently live. I hope that you like the idea of a carhenge quilt ;) ... just kidding .... actually that is not a bad idea! hmmmmm......

Secret Quilt Angel. A year long exchange I did that ended in Dec.

You rocked it! I can't imagine the stress it was for you - but know that MORE of us are HAPPY than the few that complained!

I'm sad that I can't swap doll quilts with you again - your work is amazing. Hopefully this summer I'll be able to joing the DQS again!

Could be Oregon also, we grow a lot of cherries, around our capital, Salem. Lord knows we have lighthouses also.

kwiltkrazy 01-08-2011 12:54 PM

Just wanted Kwhite to know it's coming along, got the top half of the top done. I'm really liking it.

jacie 01-08-2011 01:02 PM

national cherry festival... lighthouses, ..my state borders 4 of the great lakes, robin ,state bird, usa usa usa.. square on lower right.. denotes state Gerald R.Ford was born in,,,,,,,,,, guess it yet/

MICHIGAN

this was alot of fun

jacie

kwiltkrazy 01-08-2011 05:33 PM

Well, Michigan must be a beautiful state, husband said it is a lot like Oregon, but flat, and has a giant lake.

oksewglad 01-08-2011 08:22 PM

jacie--what a cute way to show off your state of Michigan! OBTW, I shook Pres. Ford's hand while he was Pres. He was wearing a WIN button. Remember those-Whip Inflation Now? I've got an idea on paper, but haven't started yet. I told
Norbanaquilts I wouldn't use any corn. Nor will I use the Iowa Hawkeye logo as we are loyal ISU Cyclone fans here. Still thinking

jacie 01-08-2011 08:31 PM

yes, I do remember the WIN buttons also. When Gerald R. Ford was Vice PRes. he was at a parade where my youngest daughter was majorette, and he came over and shook hands with the school kids. It was thrilling for the youngsters... His museum is in our town, and is a place every person would enjoy.

glad you remember him in a pleasant memory.

jacie

kwiltkrazy 01-08-2011 11:31 PM
