January Postcard Swap - Name that Tune!
Let the New Year begin. This year I will be hosting a variety of themes. Sign-ups begin for the January postcard swap. You will be making One Fabric Postcard.
We had a lot of fun with this theme so let's try it again. You will design a card around a song. Let your partner guess which song it is and post a pic of it on the board for us to guess. My swaps are open to all levels of sewing. For a tutorial on how to make fabric postcards, please refer to my post in tutorials How to Make a Fabric Postcard. Please post pictures of the postcards you receive. *Cards must measure approx 4 x 6 *Must predominantly be sewed and quilted. Embroidery by hand or machine is also welcome. *Must have some type of finished edge. Theme: Name that Tune! I vote that you post a photo of the Postcard but, give everyone else a chance to try to guess the tune before you post the name of it. It will be fun.

I still need to pick out a tune as well. Will concentrate on that today and tomorrow. Then will start thinking of a design. So much fun!! So many possibilities.

O phooey! I'm too late for this month....just logged in to sign up & I missed the deadline --- I'll be watching I guess and try not to be late for Feb...dang dang dang!

Mailed my pc off "last year" to Sleepy Hollow. Hopefully the frigid temps won't stop it in its tracks. this morning it was -1 degrees. Rhonda my Honda groaned but then she started. Brrr.

For some reason this one is hard for me. Is anyone else having trouble getting their song on fabric? Or is it just me? Lol.
