Yesterday afternoon, my daughter and I went to Walmart and naturally the fabric section is the first place to go and thats exactly where we went (actually that was why we went we needed tule to make TuTus for the Color Run 5K Marathon in May that were going to do) So, there is a lady at the cutting counter marking down some fabrics. So I had to check them out. She was marking Christmas Flannel down to yes you will read this right 86 cents a yard!!!! I got a couple yards of a bunch of them. Not sure what I will use them for but maybe I will put them in a Secret Pal Package. Happy New Years Everyone.

Nice find airwick. Was lucky a few years ago and found flannel on sale also bought almost all they had used it for backings of quilts.

I haven't been in for the last few months, decided to start again and missed the sign up. Will try to watch more carefully for next month.

Missed the signups also. Been so busy with the Holidays and my sister was in a car accident, but she is home now and just recovering, they were very blessed! My DD and Grandkids left yesterday to stay a few days with her in laws, my SIL is in Afghanistan. Still have to start taking down all my Christmas decorations. But will keep up with everyone and get in on the signups next month! Did everyone get all their sewing done they wanted to over the Holidays? I know I didn't but think I will after all the clean up is done! Happy belated New Year and everyone have a great day!

Have had my secret pal before. Will be getting her package together this weekend. We are leaving for Mexico next week! Our youngest son is getting married or I should say renewing their vows on the beach. Can't wait to get out of the sub 0 weather. So whoever has my name, will be gone for awhile.

A gift subscription is a great idea. Amy Gibson's Sugar Block Club BOM is less than $10 and she is starting a new one for 2014. These are the best directions I have seen, to date, for interesting blocks. Some of you know her work from the 2012 free Craftsy.com series.

Hi everyone. I have been MIA for a while. We have had some deaths in the family. I was also scrambling to make a quilt for a cancer patient that died 2 days after my daughter took the quilt to her. Then all the holidays and sickness kept me hopping. I'll try to get back in February.

I've had my SP before. I've ordered her something, so hope it comes quickly. Sadly, it's not the thing she wants the most as there's no stockist in the UK (no surprises there, lol). My LQS has their sale tomorrow so hopefully I'll find something nice. :)

I had to get a new computer a couple of months ago and of course it had windows 8. I hate hate hate it!!!!! There has been times I have tried and tried to do something on it and can't figure it out, I get so frustrated I just want to throw it out the window. I did find a program called Classic Shell, makes it more friendly. It also makes it look almost just like windows 7, thank God I found it or this computer would be trash by now.
My DH did surprise me before Christmas and told me he ordered me an iMac!!!! I am doing the happy dance. I have iPhone and the iPad been want an iMac for ever.
