Nice card Dove, did you and Dotty decide to do 4th of July instead? Very pretty stitching.

Ladies,
It has come to my attention that some of you don't use envelopes for your postcards and just send them on there way as is. And, If this is how you want to do it, that is up to you. It has come to my attention that someone did receive their postcard. But, it was so damaged and battered by the post office, It was hard to enjoy the lovely work that was done. Now, this month, I did receive my camping postcard just regular, no envelope. It arrived just fine. A few smudges, but, still in great shape. (I was not disappointed.) So, really think about how far your postcard is going and, what you have on it. And, what it might look like when it arrives. You can purchase clear 4 x 6 clear sleeves on Amazon. They are like, 100 for less then $10. It will assure that your postcard goes first class non-machineable. And will also insure your lovely postcard arrives intact. (If this fits in your budget.) Also, Wal-mart sells envelopes in a great size for mailing postcards as well. I know, some of you really like the "patina" they get when mailed with no cover. Some, just to let you know, do mind. |
Mailing my card out in the morning hope Susan likes it I would love to go see the northern lights so that were my camper headed

K-Roll, nhnative, Great job. I love the little bits of trim you used. I also LOVE the all natural vibe I get from your postcard. I could be a hippy happily living in a commune in it.
Nice job ladies, keep them rolling in. They are all so sweet. Could you see all our "Glampers" in a row at a Campground?! They would look so cool all lined up. |

I have received my July Postcard swap from Cuppy. Thank you so much. I hope she soon receives mine as they were both posted on the same day.

Very nice tent cuppy, and colors! I just love that green too.
I love tent camping. But this weekend I'll be in the Sierras at a rental ranch (oh, well I'll make the best of it!). Packing FPC stuff with me. |
Judith that would be awesome, " dress right dress" of the camping and glamping row.
|
Cuppy, I LOVE your tent. Most of my camping memories are about tent camping. And, the smores of course were the most fun part of camping.
|

Thanks Cookie, I do have you down as mailed. I have EVERYONE down as mailed. So, hopefully, more will be coming in soon.

Cuppy has asked me to post photos of my swap to her as she is unable to. Caravan postcard, Caravan stuffed ornament, sewing buttons and Cherry ripe bar. The light has reflected in the photos, so they are not as clear.
|
Love the embroidered Camper! Setting the bar high for me.
|

I sent my postcard to owlvamp a few days ago
I was messing with an old Kenmore trying to make a sign like in a camp ground but I made way too many mistakes. Sssoooo this one is stuff to do around a campfire and a starry sky. The camp fire was done on my 1950s Pheonix sewing machine. Inside all the flaps is a campfire |

While shopping at my nearest largest shopping centre I noticed they had a camping display. I couldn't help but take a picture and thought perhaps you would like to see it.
|
Miriam, I love your use of denim. And, I absolutely love how the fabric moves to reveal the campfire. Super cool!!
Owlvamp, You know I love how you use texture. And, Miriam put it perfectly, "roughing" it camping style. Nice job. Betty J, thanks for your photo share. I think those campers are "styling" it. lol :D |

Aw, Millie, that's awesome. My parents used to have a VW Van. I have many happy memories of road trips and semi-camping and drive in movies. And, our move to Florida. Way back when. I love it. I will mark my received list.
