This is a fun swap. Its easier for me to do the months I can do vs every month and the price range is truly a reasonable thing for my limited budget. I have so much fun receiving the beautiful items and the nice cards from someone I might never have touched lives with otherwise. I am rearing to go for this one!!!

Wow we have really got alot of us swappers for the month of July. 100 so far and still counting. How awesome is that?? How fun, can't wait to get my swap partner for this month. Anxiously WAITING!!!!!! :-)

I, too, was excited to see that the swap for July already has 100 users signed up. That means 100 quilters who are looking forward to getting to know each other and anxious to share. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

It looks like 106 people signed up for the swap! Yoohoo, it is my first swap ever and I am so excited! Can't wait to get my partner assigned and go shopping :lol:

OK, I give up. Is there some secret to being able to tell how many people are signed up besides being the coordinator (who has a really big job, heaven help her)?

I am getting it together. If you go to Group Activities, it has a list of names :)

If you go to the site homepage, and scroll down to Group Activities and select the particular swap, it should have the number of participants and their names. And now I can't wait to find who my partner is :lol:

we could always post our preference on whether we want to know how our secret pal is. Either before or when we get our squishy. Even though we find out who our sp is our squishy will still be a surprise. If everyone gave their e-mail address you could always contact them that way. I would be ok with it either way. If my pal would like to contact me before I am ok with that and if not I am ok with that too.

I always put in a note with the squishy so that they know who it is and how to contact me. I've been keeping in touch with my June secret pal and it's a great way to further bond friendships.

I just got back from shopping for my secret pal (and myself :lol: ) and will be mailing the package tomorrow....doesn't have a very long way to go. My husband couldn't believe how I excited I was shopping for my pal...I sure hope she likes the stuff :mrgreen:

for those who do not understand saftey reasons....recently i was a victim of a computer scam. somehow my real name and bank account info was posted on line. my bank caught this quickly enough that it did not cost me the $700 they tried to charge on my account. please be careful giving out personal info here.

I'm really sorry to hear this has happened to you. I think it is really easy to forget that anybody can read some forums, it is easy to get caught up in the intimate friendly and innocent chats we are all having with each other. On the plus side I am happy for you that your bank is on the ball.

This is a fun swap, don't stess too much on what to send, just send either along the guidelines your pal gave or buy something you might like to receive. We are a fun group and into this for the friendship more so than what we get, I think. We are just thrilled at anything someone else took the time to pick out for us. Atleast I know I am so have fun shopping....... :lol: :lol:
