This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can
choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner each month, and the person you send to will may be different than the person you receive from. Failure to send your package after signing up will be cause to be banned from all future swaps. Please do not sign up if you cannot fulfill your obligation. Have fun and be creative!

After receiving your Secret Pal’s details, go to work and put together a package with something you think your pal would like. There is a $15.00 limit on this swap that does not include what you have in your stash. (This does not include shipping) Most swappers do not mind like-new stash items. Please send items you would like to receive. Do not send smelly, holey, or stained fabric. You will need to send me (hav4boys) a PM when mailing and receiving. This way I can keep my records straight. Also send a PM to your SP thanking them. This is an important part of participating. It lets your secret pal know you got their package.

Please take pictures and post in group as everyone likes to see what you get.

Packages need to be mailed out by July 22th, this is a Firm deadline. All International mailings must be mailed by Junly 10th Firm. If you know that you cannot mail by that date, Please Do Not Sign Up.

For international mailing it is very important that you mark your parcel as a 'Gift' on the Customs Declaration (there's a box you can check). Also, the value should be $10 only (even if you send diamond necklace). The person receiving the package is liable for Import Duty, Tax and a Handling fee. This can cost the person receiving as much as $40.

Padded envelopes are much cheaper to send compared to small boxes. These can be ordered free of charge from the USPS website.

If your pal does not receive her/his package within a reasonable time I will need tracking information. If there is an exception on the mailing, you will need to inform me ASAP. No one enjoys not getting a package after they have sent one.

I received the most amazing packages from my secret pal and I got totally spoiled. Now here is the kicker. She ordered directly and there was a card with it but it said from my July QB Secret Pal so I am still left guessing. I will need to try and post pictures hopefully tomorrow but I just wanted to let her know the packages arrived and I am thrilled. Hopefully tomorrow I will also find out who she is. Thank you secret pal!!!!

Here are the fun gifts I received from my secret pal, an instant pot cook book, much needed, and a set of baskets and racks to enable me to make the food with in my instant pot. Also I am still in the dark who my kind secret pal is as the card only said it was from my July secret pal swap partner. When the whole quanrentine went down I got an instant pot to cook for the family and I have been on a learning curve. This will help me get beyond steamed potatoes. Thank you for your kind and generous gift July secret pal.

I am so excited. I have been bummed with the second shut-down in my state. And then....

I got a box from BrendaK. . That is the best description. I had asked for black scraps since I am making a black and orange mystery quilt in the birthday swap and am in need of 2.5 inch black squares. Breand and I think of scraps differently. Now I am contemplating a black and white quilt.

She even sent the best jingle balls for my kittens. They are large so they do not get lost under things and the kittens love them.

Thank you July secret pal! I got another surprise in the mail some time ago. A nifty orange roasting insert for my instant pot. Can't wait to try it! My appologies for taking so long to post that the insert arrived. So much is going on in our life as a family that I am feeling really overwhelmed. All is OK but too many changes all at once on top of the coronavirus. Many more changes for our family coming up. I also found out that 2 of my adult children and their families, 5 grand babies, that live in this area are all moving to the other side of the US. I cried so hard. Trying times.

Oh Anna, I am so sorry. Change is always hard. Hang in there.

A huge thank you to gaijin for my fantastic parcel. It has some lovely bright batiks, my favourite designer Tula Pink and some gorgeous cherry blossom fabric from Japan. As I make bags she also included several sets of bag handles, a bag pattern and a fascinating Japanese magazine on bags. I feel very lucky.

For my secret pal, the thing I was waiting for has finally arrived so I will make up your package and get it out just in time - phew!

I found out who my secret pal was, Kathy. Thank you! I received a wonderful and fun Scrap quilt book in the mail by Lisa Alexander. Not only are there patterns for some of the most amazing scrap quilts but the writing accompanying it is so interesting I just can't put it down. It is perfect for me. Thank you Kathy for being a wonderful secret pal to me.

I received my pkg today from Carolinepaj! I got fabric, clips, needles, thread, a lavender sachet and a nifty mini tuffet kit (I hope I got that rt). Thanks Caroline, I love it!
