July Secret Pal Swap - Sign-ups close June 30 midnight - Come join the fun!
 

Please note: there is a delay in items being shipped. Please be understanding. In some post offices in the US there are major delays.

This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can
choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner each month, and the person you send to will may be different than the person you receive from. Failure to send your package after signing up will be cause to be banned from all future swaps. Please do not sign up if you cannot fulfill your obligation. Have fun and be creative!

After receiving your Secret Pal’s details, go to work and put together a package with something you think your pal would like. There is a $15.00 limit on this swap that does not include what you have in your stash. (This does not include shipping) Most swappers do not mind like-new stash items. Please send items you would like to receive. Do not send smelly, holey, or stained fabric. You will need to send me (hav4boys) a PM when mailing and receiving. This way I can keep my records straight. Also send a PM to your SP thanking them. This is an important part of participating. It lets your secret pal know you got their package.

Please take pictures and post in group as everyone likes to see what you get.

Packages need to be mailed out by July 19th, this is a Firm deadline. All International mailings must be mailed by July 10th Firm. If you know that you cannot mail by that date, Please Do Not Sign Up.

For international mailing it is very important that you mark your parcel as a 'Gift' on the Customs Declaration (there's a box you can check). Also, the value should be $10 only (even if you send diamond necklace). The person receiving the package is liable for Import Duty, Tax and a Handling fee. This can cost the person receiving as much as $40.

Padded envelopes are much cheaper to send compared to small boxes. These can be ordered free of charge from the USPS website.

If your pal does not receive her/his package within a reasonable time I will need tracking information. If there is an exception on the mailing, you will need to inform me ASAP. No one enjoys not getting a package after they have sent one.

Ooh yes please. I didn’t do it last month and I felt something was ‘missing’. Post between UK and USA seems to b back to normal as I’ve sent/received a few bits recently. One item took 4 days to arrive!! UK to Australia on the other hand…. (My package has been sat on an Australian runway since the 4th…)

My SP loves all colors and I'm having fun putting together a package for you!

My secret pal's most wanted item came in and her package will be on its way. I found something for her pet too.

I am waiting for something that I ordered, when it gets here I'll send the package. I still have six days till the cut off. Hopefully it will get here soon. I ordered it the day I received my partners name.

I am making my secret pal something today that does not require sewing or quilting but is somewhat related as it has a sewing theme.

My secret pal should receive her package by Saturday. Hope her fur babies like what I sent them.

I found something online I'm going to have shipped directly to my partner... the rest will come from me soon !!!

My secret Pal's box went out today with a Tuesday expected delivery date. It was packed full. Went to an estate sale and found the type of fabric she liked so I put all that would fit in the box.

I received a very much desired item (large bobbin holder) that I have been wanting to purchase for some time now and just haven’t! A great UK fat quarter that I will be adding my cousins odd and random adult I spy quilt (all the FQ’s are great) and a little card that literally made me laugh out loud because a co-worker and I have been wishing each other “a very merry unbirthday” almost daily since her birthday in March while waiting for the arrival of my birthday in Sept, the card was an perfect unknown reminder of that! And today is also my unbirthday!

I received my amazing package from Gaijin yesterday ! It had beautiful fabrics, special elastics, a zipper pull/ handle, very cute tea towel, dental chews for my dog and a handmade beautiful mask. What a thoughtful and wonderful package. Thanks again :)

woohoo...already recd my package and was so happy to see The Country Registers! I loved it all but these tiny treasures really made me home sick! I am from TX but used to travel through OK and into KS and picked these up where I found them. They truly are a travelers best friend when trying to find antique shops, quilt shops etc. THANK YOU Goatmom (aka Jennifer) I really loved it! PS my 10yo mini doxie Daisy loved the treats too! I could not figure out how to attach my pix though..sigh

Just checked tracking and my package is almost there. It’s been a long journey for it. It spent some time in San Francisco California even though neither of us lives there.

I received my package today from Mollie(FRSUR33). It was stuffed full of fabric, Hand and Nail gloves (I can't wait to try). A Stay Soothed Paper Facial Mask (also can't wait to try this). Candy (which my my husband has already gotten into), ok so I also had a piece. Mollie please tell your nephew that I love the fabric he picked out. Have not received a package from Amazon yet.
