June Mini Quilt swap
 

For this swap we will be making miniature quilts. The suggested size is 6-18 inches or anywhere in between, finished.
Square, round, rectangle, hexi, it’s up to you.


The theme is “Summertime Fun”
The little quilt must have a top, batting and backing and must be bound. You can use any method you wish to fashion the top, piecing, appliqué, whole cloth, thread painting etc.


Please PM tlambing by Tuesday May 31st to sign up. I will then match up names and get them out to you ASAP. You will have until June 30th to mail your tiny quilt to your partner. This is a FIRM DEADLINE!
Please don’t sign up unless you can commit fully to this deadline.

Any swapper that fails to follow through and does not contact me and their partner will be banned from any of my future swaps and will receive bad (swap)feedback. I know that sometimes things happen that are out of our control, I certainly would take this into consideration, but you MUST COMMUNICATE.


Swappers should treat each other as friends and focus on the fun. So…please be prepared to be flexible, patient and understanding if necessary and appropriate.

Yep QuilterMomma trying to stay dry, your right about the praying for rain....but we have been lucky the last few months with plenty of rain. But with summer months it's usually pretty dry around here...no matter how hard we pray.

I know what I'm making - picked out the fabric and pattern. Hope to post a sneak peak this weekend :p

I am in for this month! Great theme. Now for the thinking cap...

I am thrilled to say that my June wall hanging loaded with summer fun is ready to mail. Can't get any better or hotter than that.

Woah! It's not even June yet!

I know, right. June is going to be busy, and July is even busier with customer quilts for quilt show and fairs. Plus I judge a couple of fairs on their quilts so I have to be ready ahead of time. I even finished up three customer quilts, two of mine, May's and June's wall hangings, June mug rug, June POM, and a table runner. Plus laid out GD quilt on the wall so it is ready to sew. Whew, dig that. Not once did I need to go to the quilt store for fabric, golden.

Mine's moving along quite nicely . . . :cool:

Haven't even started, just let Teresa know today that I would join. Started my POM swap and hope to finish that tomorrow, then I'll think about this one. This morning was on the computer trying to get fares for Florida, booked and don't want to wait until the end of July.......

Jan, don't forget to let me know when you are coming so that we can meet up this time. :)

Sounds perfect Karen and we should have time. Flying in on July 28 and out on August 13th. 2 weeks of humid heat, maybe unwanted pounds will just melt off.....if only huh? :)

Sorry Jan, it doesn't work that way. I wish it did. I could stand to lose a few pounds myself. :D
