I go on Riverview Rd in the National Park and when I get to Vaughn the road is usually closed. It seems like it can just rain for a few hours and the river is up.

When my son was little we would drive through Sand Run after a rain and make rooster tails of water as we drove over the ford. He got such a kick out of sticking his arm out the window to feel the spray.

well, i'm jhoping for sun the whole way down and back. can't wait, about 25 days till. yippee. gotta start making my list. I don't even know what I need to bring. got all new stuff to bring. haven't bought new summer cloths in about 2 yrs. since the last cruise. being I wear all white with a bit of aqua and pink, all the old stuff looks ratty and I needed new t shirts and stuff. i'm bringing nd iron for the 3 rayon shirts I have. what a bummer. I'll be happywith any pc. don't going worrying yourself lauriejo.

Lynnie just stated above she has got to start making a list. See!! She is figuring out who all she is taking on the cruise, and how many extra tickets to buy. She is telling us what colors she is wearing so we all can try to match up with her wardrobe. Sort of like a sorority. lol....

While waiting on the cruise we can go on a cruise with nhnative on the Cuyahoga River.

Lots of relaxing while working on pincushions/needle books.

Well if y'all are going to cruise the little stretch of the Cuyahoga by me & nhnative it will take a little bit of work. The kayak/canoe rental will put in and take out the boats, and going down river makes it fairly easy, but you do need to be prepared to paddle. I think we should just wait for lynnie to take us on her cruise.

O.K., here's the sleeping situation. Me and Larry in the bed, Whoever want's to fight it out can have the couch and the chairs on the balcony. Of course , you don't have to sleep you can stay up all night and eat or play in the casino,
then you can sleep on the pool decks when the sun comes up. but me and my hubs are resting at night. There's a bit of room under the bed, so whomever doesn't mind being squished can sleep there. Payment is fabric and pincushions, Ladies!!!!

Susan your right,she is making a list of us going. I'm going to wear some blues and browns so I don't clash with her. What ya taking? I think I'm skipping Lauriejos cruise. She's making us work to much. lol.Have a good day ya all. I'm gonna go start my packing too.

They did take the dam out last summer. I went by the river today but since I was on the other side I didn't even look. The road wasn't flooded. I went back to Squire's Castle to get some pics with the snow. They got more than I did. Now I'm back home and everything is melting. I'm going to skip the river cruise too.
