March -June 2019 Wall Hanging Swap
Welcome to our Wall Hanging Swap!
You have 4 months to make a wall hanging of your choice. This is an anything goes swap. There is no theme. Size and Type of Wall Hanging: Smaller than a lap quilt but larger than a mug rug. Use any technique/ any style / any colors. Embellishments are a fun way to add to your wall hanging if you like Sign Up list There is no deadline. The Sign Up list is just to see who is interested in joining us. The only list that counts is the Ready to Mail list at the end of the 4 month swap. Ready to Mail list Ready to Mail list will be posted the middle of June 2019. If you are not on this list you will not get an address to send to. Deadline - Midnight central time last day of June 2019 I Need: Real name your address send international or not Allergy info Pet and smoking information Would like an email address Phone number would be appreciated As long as you have a wall hanging ready to mail you can join us any time up to midnight on the last day of June! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Addresses Sent Out: I will be sending addresses to each swapper at midnight of the last day of June!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will then send your wall hanging to the quilter who's address you get. You will receive from a different quilter than the one you send to. This is not a partner swap. Important!! Please send me a pm when you mail and when you receive!! Only those who send me a pm to let me know they are ready to mail will be on the mailing list. Anyone who is not done on time may enter theirs in the next swap. I'm in again. I have one top made. But, am thinking of doing another one also. I don't think anyone mentioned how addicting these small projects are to do. My mind has already wandered to severral other small projects as well. :o lol So much fun.

I'm in...have something in mind for the next one...but who knows what it will turn out to be? The last one wasn't anything like I had in mind to begin with! Definitely a fun project... Rhonda...you don't need my info again, do you????

I am in. I haven't any plans yet, but will be thinking about it while I recover from my hand surgery happening this week. 4 months should give me plenty of time to recover from both hand surgeries and still have a great wall hanging. I may not be posting much while in recovery, just so you know. Will be looking later.

I pulled out my bin of 1.5" triangles to play with for the next swap. Teen inspired me with all her color wheel like Wall Hangings that she has been working on.

I still have the lettering to do. And, of course, layering and quilting. But, there is still time when this one is done. I have another idea also. Just in case this one is not anyone else's cup of tea. I tend to go a little to bright for others. (A little too bright for me at the moment also.) But, all those lovely scraps were just calling my name. I can see in the last year (as I've been weeding/straightening/culling through my stash) that my taste has been changing. I am gravitating to fabric that is softer and not as busy. Pastels and solids are really catching my interest. |

Judith, what a fun rainbow of triangels. I want to come over and play with them. LOL Can't wait to see what you made. also I received my beatiful wall hanging but need to try and get it up loaded so I can post the picture. Once I do I will post.

I am in again, maybe I will do something for the month of July since that is when my partner will be receiving.
