ATTENTION GROUP: The birthday idea was not Brenda's, it was mine. I dreampt of the idea(s) last night and I presented them to Brenda. When I posted in group about what a great idea it was to Brenda, I was being facetious. She was just suppose to present the idea to you all to get feedback on it. I thought it was a good idea which is why I told Brenda and for her to tell you all. I thought maybe she would have said another member brought it to her but since she didn't, I am now. So thank you all for the thumbs up but I get hurt when someone steals my "thunder. Brenda, I still love you girl but I had to do this. I hope this doesn't make me a biotch for doing this but if it does, so be it.

I suppose what I should have done was to present my idea to the group as a whole so there was no misunderstanding... that was my bad for not doing that. It's all good.....

Birthday addition sounds great to me! Yipee for any ideas from anyone! Alls good!

Birthday idea sounds fun but, it will add to postage for me, especially. Canada Post is very expensive, whether a package goes to Canada or elsewhere. I know I am probably waaaay in the minority but this would be enough for me to be forced to opt out of the swap. As it is, I can only do one or two.

Just my two cents. Gee, maybe that should be nickel now as the Canadian penny is no longer being produced.

I think it could just be a option not a requirement.I'm on a fixed income like alot of others and also have to watch every penny (nickel lol).Mary

I know Mary, everything's cool as a cucumber! Not sure this is going to work anyway, everybody has to agree for it to be fair to everyone because it would be part of the swap and NOT an option. I thought maybe everyone could do one more FQ but apparently not true so it might as well be scrapped. Oh well, it was just an idea.

Just checked on the packages I mailed and both of them have been delivered according to tracking. Hope they enjoy them. Wish I could be there in person to see their faces. Can't wait till next months swap.

I was just thinking instead of scrapping the whole birthday idea, may it could be adjusted. Instead of sending to the person drawn from the hat everyone sends an extra fq to their partner if it is their birthday. That saves alot of people on the postage since theyre already sending to that person anyway. Just my opinion.

great idea! I really like that! Brenda will still have to gather up the BD people tho and let us know who they are in case one is ours.

Yipee... rec'd my MAY fat quarter swap today, and they are very pretty! Yes, i took pictures, so all can see... I will KEEP trying to learn how to post. Enclosed also was a cute little container of blue buttons. LOVE the fabrics MARY sent to me. Have a great weekend everyhone!

This swap is great, I have some that I got and thought I'd use, you all know....those well intentions, but replacing them is great!!!! This swap was so much fun. I have done two of these so far and had a blast. Another member of the board mentioned a swap for fat eighths a couple of days ago and I was wondering if any of you have signed up for that one. I have and expecting even more fun.

Loved see what everyone got. I had so much fun with the past two swaps cant wait for the June signup. Any idea on when it is?

June signups will probably be next week...need a few more people to get this months before I can post June sign ups....I will say that if anyone wants to start getting their fabric early June's theme will be anything to do with summer...colors, prints, patterns, etc., as long as it's "summery".
