May FQ Swap
 

Description: This will be a monthly swap. You will sign up each month and you can choose each month whether or not to participate. You will be given a random person to swap with and that person will change each month.
Each month there will be a different theme or color that we will swap. There is a limit of two swaps per person.

**Each person will swap 5 fat quarters that go with the theme or color of the month.
**FQ's can be purchased or can be from your stash but they must be 100% cotton and they must measure 18 x 22 inches (standard FQ).
**They should be 5 DIFFERENT FQ's.

For the month of May the theme is Summer. Whatever reminds you of summer; colors, patterns, prints, etc.
Since there isn't a whole lot to this swap, the turn around time will be pretty fast. Sign up until noon on May 3rd, receive person's name and address by May 5th and mail out by May 10th. Participants are required to PM me when they have received their FQ's and are required to post a PM thanking the sender. You don't need to let me know you have mailed.

*When you send your FQ's please be sure to include your board/screen name so that people know whom to thank.

Thanks, I'm not going to send the pm until I'm sure I can get to the quilt shop this week. I just checked the stash and don't keep theme type fabrics on hand.

You could do sunny yellow and summer sky blue? You don't have to definitely have "theme" type fabric :)

WooHoo! Went shopping today for "Summer". Got some interesting stuff! Now to find out who I send them to. Can't wait. Happy "Summer"

I am going shopping Saturday, I get to travel to Joann's about once every two or three months. So excited. I will be getting enough fabric and stabilizer to last me for a while. And summer prints for my swap partner, yeah

I also plan to go fabric shopping tomorrow. Looking forward to getting my name!!

There are plenty quilt shops there but I will be on the road traveling for 2 weeks.

Fat Quarters are in the envelopes ready to add a little note and an address when I hear where they are to go!
