May Secret Pal Swap Closes April 30th 4pm CST
 

Description:
This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner every month, and the person you send to will be different than the person you receive from.




1) YOU NEED TO SEND THE HOSTESS A PRIVATE MESSAGE WHEN YOU MAIL YOUR PACKAGE TO YOUR SECRETPAL.

2)ONCE YOU GET YOUR PACKAGE FROM YOUR SECRET PAL, YOU WILL NEED TO SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE TO THE PERSON WHO SENT THE PACKAGE TO YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU DID RECEIVE IT AND TO THANK THE SENDER.

3) AFTER YOU HAVE THANKED YOUR SECRET PAL, YOU WILL NEED TO SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE TELLING ME THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR PACKAGE SO THAT I CAN KEEP ACCURATE RECORDS.

FAILURE TO SEND THESE PRIVATE MESSAGES IS REASON ENOUGH TO BE BANNED FROM THE NEXT MONTHS SWAP.


PACKAGES NEED TO BE SENT OUT BY May 16th, this is a FIRM deadline (NOT A SUGGESTION). IF YOU KNOW THAT YOU CANNOT MAIL BY THAT DATE, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP. You can send your package as early as you'd like!


If you are sending an international package it will need to be mailed by the 10th of May. Due to mail processing, our mail dates for international mailing has to be as early as possible! No later than the 10th of May. It can take many weeks to reach your SP so any delays in mailing can delay the start of the next month’s sign-up sheet being posted.

There is a 10 dollar budget for this swap. Items from your stash or homemade items are not included in the $10 limit. Postage isn't included in the ten dollars. The most important thing to remember with the budget is to have fun, but please do NOT SPEND MORE THAN $10.



Sign ups will close the 30th of April, and names will be paired on the 1st of May and sent out no later than the 2nd of May. (I will try to have all names out on the 1st.)


2. If your pal does not receive her/his package within a reasonable time (7 days max from mailing deadline for within the same country. Then I will need tracking information, 15 days for between countries. There are exceptions, but I MUST be notified of any delays in sending on your end). Failure to comply may result in the following:


This is why it is imperative that you keep the hostess informed on ANY mailing issues. Along with negative feedback, you will not be allowed to participate in future secret pal swaps. It is also possible that other coordinators will not allow you to participate in their swaps.

Although I could have been first this month :p I'm not, because I'm off to Italy at the beginning of May and won't be able to join in this month. However, I'm going to look for a nice souvenir for my June pal and I'll be looking in from time to time :) Y'all be good now! ;)

I Am DEFFIENTLY not able to go anywhere next month.... MAYBE to a quilt shop to look and get the motivation going more.... WOULD LOVE to go somewhere though.. I'm in again for May (my Bday month, I'll be 53, why did that used to sound old but not anymore! LOL!). Hoping and praying this month is better(That saying, "Life gets in the way", was sure true for April)! Everyone is finally well and kids and gkids are all back home. Have to feel better, gotta get to cleaning, my SIL is coming Friday, my FIL will be 90 tomorrow, so we will be celebrating this weekend. Already picked up a few things, can't wait to get my name! Krystyna congratulations on your new home! Sulabug its been so long I've not seen you here! Though I'm not in this months swap I will be next month even if I have to fight tooth and nail, ok maybe not but I will with needle and thread! Knitette enjoy your trip to Italy!

I just wanted to update everyone, some of you may remember in February that my 17 year old Nephew was in ICU with a terrible heart condition, Thank you everyone who said a prayer he is now out of the Hospital and is doing great he is not allowed to return to school yet, but he is happy to be home. He has a Nurse visit 3or 4 days per week and is on a constant IV except 2 hours per day... but his little heart and new valves are working ! thank you for all the prayers.

Wanda Lou that is just wonderful to hear! Glad that he is home and he will get much stronger! Have faith and prayers still going your way.

No but I think with a name that starts with s I'm usually one of the later ones if Lori starts at the top of an alphabetical list.
