Don't know how much is weighs, will try to get hubby to assist with that and I'll let you know. This one is the wood frame that goes from crib to queen, 64" to 98" , adjustable height, has the original carriage plus the upgraded metal one. Just took it down after I bought the HQ16 setup and am not going to build on to set it up again. Have the Gracie stitch regulator if your machine is compatible with my Juki 98 Q. Why don't you do a little research and let me know if this is something you'd be interested in. They do have them listed on e-bay so you can read more about it. I'd just really like for someone to be able to have one if they want. I will be very reasonable, just let me know and I'm sure we can come up with something. We're ok, private pms are best when addressing this situation, good luck on your sell.

mimiknoxtaylor 05-31-2013 04:30 AM

I'm not a horse person but these are amazing! They remind me of the Budweiser horses.

RedGarnet222 05-31-2013 06:24 AM

Oh yay!! I love winning. This is only the fourth thing I have won in my life. I got so excited, I gave you the wrong address in the pm. What a ninny. I sent the right one to you.

I mostly have been working on the charity quilts for the silent auction next month for the diabetic kids. Thanks for missing me! LOL... That was sweet of you.

I Love those horses! They are so nice.

This is a new one for me, where can I get more information about using a red viewing glass? I learn something new every day thank you.

Dedemac 05-31-2013 08:39 AM

Love the horses in the different seasons.

Love these! It is just like a quilt show of minis! I often use leftover appliques from the quilts that I make. I have trouble throwing out the larger pieces of pretty fabric when there isn't enough for another small quilt.

Dedemac 06-01-2013 01:02 PM

Love the pictures, this is my first time making a Mug Rug so I have nothing to post. I love looking at others, and I love to get new ideas!

abdconsultant 06-01-2013 02:59 PM

Applique, they're smashing!!!

Belfrybat 06-02-2013 05:38 AM

Nice mug rugs. I'm going to tackle this after I return from holiday. I do have some rectangular ones made up, but since we are to do a square one for this swap, I won't post pics. as I don't want to confuse anyone. I'm thinking of doing a 10 inch scrappy block, since I have so many scraps. But that is open to change depending on my whim when I return.

Hi dedemac,

It is fun to learn new things here, huh?
You should be able to get a viewer from a local quilt store. When you look through it the colors go away and the value is apparent. This refers to the strength of the color, or how strong it plays with the other colors when used together.

Jaba and applique... Those mug rugs are lovely!

thimblebug6000 06-02-2013 03:53 PM

I'm not in the swap, but want to thank you... I learned something new today! I have always referred to as railroading your borders (just cutting them on the length instead of the width of the fabric) I had no idea it was referring to the way the fabric was milled.
Great samples everyone, absolutely LOVE your work horse ones!

abdconsultant 06-03-2013 05:33 AM

I'm working on our Quiz #2, remember google is your friend! I will post on Wednesday EST some time during the 24hrs. Keep watch. RedGarnet222 your prize is going out today. I hope you like it!

abdconsultant 06-04-2013 03:54 AM

wake up everybody, tell me whats going on....your ideas, progress, pictures of the past, etc

jaba 06-04-2013 05:49 AM

Forgot about the update, sorry. I have mine sewn and need to hand sew the binding, then they will be done. Shortly I will just be waiting for my partner's name and status will be ready to mail.

I finished a mug rug, but, then I needed a quick gift for a board member that shared the stars and stripes pattern with me. I am so bad! I will work on another one today. I even forgot to take a picture of that one, dang it.

But, here is a picture of some I made last year.... The first ones were hubbies because he loved to first ones I made for his brother. (which is the second picture)

Dedemac 06-04-2013 03:27 PM

I finished my main block and now working on the border and trying to decide on backing and binding. I have been enjoying the whole process. My DH keeps shaking his head at what I am doing. He confused about what a mug rug is. I should be done this weekend since the weather hear is wet rainy and gray all week, can't do much work out side.

QuilterMomma 06-04-2013 03:56 PM

I have misplaced my photos of the ones I did last year. I made a sunflower one, that was my favorite for Tammoo who loves them. Alas, no photo. maybe she is around and can upload it.
I am still milling ideas right now. Have another obligation that has overtaken my design wall so can't quite get to this. Oh my goodness, it just occured to me. I can make two of the one block I am making. hey there it is. I know what I am going to do. Yep, one mug rug in the works just from me typing up this note. A little teapot and cup on a mat with sugar cubes and saucer. Sounds like a winner.

abdconsultant 06-04-2013 07:07 PM

Red, love the rugs. great manly look!

RedGarnet222 06-04-2013 08:38 PM

Thanks so much abconsultant. I will make some really nice ones to share.

abdconsultant 06-05-2013 06:12 AM
