i think it might be fun to make 2. one would be just for the mug when you're not having a donut, too. the second one could be larger, and perhaps co-ordinated with the small one, and be for times when you have that pastry or snack with your beverage. i'm willing to admit it, i love making sets of things!

A set would be nice when having a cuppa with a friend!

2 soundas just fine especially when you have another person with you. I am planning to make some for Christmas. My two sons work in an office, my new daut in law also works in a fancy office. I am going to go out on a limb, does any one have any Duke material that I could have ? she is a Duke fan and thought that would be a neat thing, and also she works at Duke, I guess it would be kind of late to send. But this was just a thought.
anyway, can't wait to start the mug rug.... |
I'm in favour of two. I had planned on doing that anyway. But mine will probably not be a "set" as I love using scraps.
|
Belfryfat, love your mug rugs. Yup, often scraps left over are great recycling for mug rugs. Seems like we always have samples or left over blocks that can be used.
Nancia, Great mug rugs, oh, and mug hug. I have also made Snack Mats for my grandchildren. Here is a link to that post. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...n-t127900.html |
I vote for just one. Let's make this swap a real success, so we can have other successful ones in the future! :)
