Annaquilts 11-02-2020 04:17 AM

Ready, set and go! I plan to participate again. Thank you Rhonda.

Rumbols 11-02-2020 06:58 AM

I am in. I think I have the perfect idea for a wall hanging.

granky 11-02-2020 07:25 AM

Of course I'm in...and you know that I will mail anywhere......

skaduzy 11-02-2020 05:36 PM

I’m in again and looking forward to it!

Annaquilts 11-03-2020 09:52 AM

Anyone have any thoughts yet on what they are making? I have not yet gotten to that but excited to start on something. Maybe I will find inspiration from the seasons as I did with the last swap. so that would mean a winter theme eventhough where I live currently we do not have a distinct winter time.

skaduzy 11-04-2020 05:53 AM

After a cold and too long winter I need to think spring so will probably use that theme for my wall hanging. My old joints need the ‘pick me up’ https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/boy.gif

I’m in!! Thank you, Rhonda, for hosting again despite the family challenges... we adore you!!

Anna....not sure what I’m doing this round.... I’ll get inspired by something, no doubt, as the months go by. I made an adorable Wallhanging a few months ago for my sewing room and may just make it again for the swap. We’ll see...

Happy December 1st, my lovely friends! Was thinking of you all as I decorated my home for the holidays...
Hope you all are doing well and excited for season...Hugs....and keep safe, please!!

R-sea 12-02-2020 03:31 AM

Okay skadzy , It is summer here in Australia so I will do a summer one and who knows you may receive it and help to warm you up

Annaquilts 12-02-2020 08:04 AM

I love this swap and the way it is set up really works for me. Low key, no manditory style or colors, enough time, yet structured enough that if you get done in time you can participate or if not done you just roll over into the next swap. This all makes this swap fun for me. Thank you Rhonda for putting up with us and doing this swap.

Sounds great R-sea. Living in Socal we do not have much of a season but my favorite one is summer.

Thanks R-sea...... there is still time. I’m a positive thinker so it may come tomorrow https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/boy.gif Or I can blame the weather. We got 14 inches of snow yesterday. First snowfall of our season and really got dumped on.

My wall hanging is ready. Anyone know how and where it upload photo?

Teen 12-09-2020 07:52 PM

Tgal....wow....zoom zoom zoom...you are fast. We, of course, want to see it. There are instructions on how to upload an image on the link below... I use an IPAD so, if you do too, I can help you, as well. If you still have problems, just PM me and I’ll give my email address so you can send me photo and I’ll upload for you if you would like. It took me a month to figure it out on my IPAD...lol...

Picked out a pattern and pulled a stack of fabrics. Got to see if it comes together. Very excited about making this wall hanging.

Mona G 12-14-2020 12:41 PM

Teen 01-18-2021 07:46 PM

I have started my WH today....I am letting the creativity flow so we will see what the result will be. Lol..

MarionsQuilts 01-22-2021 03:56 AM

I'm in as usual (only missed one because I forgot LOL) ..

I too will ship anywhere ... don't have a clue yet, but I still have some wall hangings that I've done that can be given in a pinch!

I'm currently working on a JAck's Chain quilt, and it's taking a lot of time!

Rhonda 01-22-2021 10:10 AM

How is everyone doing quilt wise weather wise etc? We have had one good snow and now it's melted down some. The melting created a lot of icy surfaces. Hope you are all safe from Covid and doing well!

skaduzy 01-22-2021 04:35 PM

Things pretty much okay here in northeast Ohio although we are having a few snow squalls right now. I don’t think Lake Erie is frozen as much as usual this year so more snow coming in from there.
I did a machine embroidered little saying and hope to incorporate it into a wall hanging with some piecing and quilting. If that doesn’t work out I will just start over with something else. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png
Glad to hear everyone is doing okay so far. My husband and I are anxiously awaiting our vaccine and are in the next group 75 and over.......gosh! Where have the years gone...I don’t feel that old https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/shock.png
You are all special to me and I love this swap!

Teen 01-22-2021 06:24 PM

Glad to hear from some of you and so happy you are all well. We are having light snowy / rainy days here in the Northwest. Unusually warm on some days. Hoping for more snow for the snow pack... We are also safe from COVID so far as is most of my family. However, some of our friends in Calif. are contracting it and, so far, surviving. Our mom’s are well isolated and doing well, praise God. Idaho is rapidly vaccinating so we anticipate being eligible in February/March, which would be the last group. We missed one group by a year...lol..

I started my WH and then stopped to just let it soak for a bit. I think my issue is that it’s just not bright enough...hahahahha! I’ve got some back up ideas so I’m good... hugs to you all.. keep safe, please.

Mona G 01-23-2021 09:42 AM

I won't be playing this time. The block I was going to use for this WH swap got used for the 2nd RR group and I won't have time to do 2 RR plus a WH with the other things I have going on. One of these times I will actually complete a WH so I can do this swap.

I've been sort of distracted....have two daughters with eye surgery within two days of each other...one with a detached retina (and the retina was damaged) and one with a skin cancer on her eyelid. Then after all is healed, they both need cataract surgery! Anyway, I'm cheating this round...I'm using a wall hanging that I made previously that I didn't use. Can't remember why I didn't care for it then, it's Ok with with me now. Have also been working on a wall hanging for one of my daughters...the one that goes fabric shopping with me the most. Saw the picture on the net and couldn't resist it...it just seemed like us! I finished one (pictured), but am doing a second one a bit larger and with a few changes. The swap wall hanging is the second picture.

Glad to hear USA swappers are okay. Here in Australia we hear all about your troubles with covin and Trump , therefore I wonder about all of you. Western Australia is free of the virus . Our problem is having a heatwave now a cyclone up North and it is very humid . I have started my wall hanging and ready to quilt

granky 01-24-2021 04:29 PM

That's beautiful R-sea!
