LOL we debated on 3 months or 4 months when I started this swap. But I think we're stuck with 4 months now LOL it allows everyone to work around holidays and school starting and summer school and vacations etc.

do you want to be on the sign up list? It is only for fun and to see who is playing. this list is not a commitment at all. if you don't get done you can always use it for the next swap.

One of the reasons I host instead of joining in is because I am always late getting things done LOL
The good thing about this is you have until the very last minute to finish and if you don't get done you can use it for the next swap!! no stress no worry unless you are anxious to receive a wh LOL

Sign Up List - just for fun

Because this swap is a no rules swap you do not have to sign up to participate.
The list that counts is the Ready to Mail List at the end of the swap.

This sign up list is just for fun. Just to see who is playing or might want to play with us.
There is no commitment in the sign up list. You are not obligated to finish.

I'm in again

Linny 11-11-2019 09:14 PM

I’ll be leaving soon for some rest and sunshine to warm these old bones. I’m looking forward to the spring swap already. Everyone who participates in this swap is so creative and full of new ideas. I love seeing all the wonderful WH’s as they come in.
Teen, I have some new wool I’ll be making a few little pillows with. Yours inspired me to have some fun and make a few of my own (to go with the sweet little pillow you sent me).

Teen 11-11-2019 09:55 PM

Fantastic, Linny! Enjoy your Winter escape and please share your tiny pillow creations. Be warned,.. They are addicting...lol.. Be safe...

This swap will be another showcase of lovely creativity!

Linny 11-12-2019 05:08 AM

Thanks, Teen. I'll be watching for all the new beauties to start rolling in.

Queenbarbiej 11-12-2019 09:04 AM

I figured out what I'm going to do for my wall hanging. It is going to be some epp. I will show what fabrics I use in a few of days.

PamelaOry 11-12-2019 09:09 AM

Hmmm....is wool acceptable?

Queenbarbiej 11-12-2019 01:13 PM

I don't see why you couldn't.

Queenbarbiej 11-13-2019 07:44 AM

Does the wall hanging have to be square or rectangle? Could it be a circle, or an octagon shape?

Annaquilts 11-13-2019 08:12 AM

Pamela and Queenbarbie I would say yes, to both.

Teen 11-13-2019 04:28 PM

I agree with Anna...Any shape should be fine. We like the "unique" and "non-traditional" :o

So, I typically do something with applique but I may veer away from that this go-around. Entertaining some ideas but I haven't decided..

Queenbarbiej 11-14-2019 04:06 AM

Well, my wall hanging is 50 percent done. I should have it completed by Tuesday of next week.

granky 11-14-2019 06:28 AM

Great Heavens! I've been so busy I haven't even thought about mine! Guess I'd better get my thinking cap on......

Annaquilts 11-14-2019 03:55 PM

Right now I can not think of anything but Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hope come January I will and be able to make February. I sure have a lot of ideas in my head.

Yikes...my sewing room is not organized enough for me to sew yet but, hopefully, I'll be unpacked in a week or so... Still working on my gorgeous kitchen with the gazillion cabinets. It's such a nice thing to have more room than stuff....and, it's a big fat "no" to buying more stuff. Lol..

granky 11-15-2019 05:23 AM

Hmmmm.....wonder how it feels to have more room than 'stuff'????? Daughter has a habit of over-buying so opening a cabinet in our kitchen is like opening Fibber McGees closet!

Teen 11-15-2019 06:35 PM

Lol @granky... All the kitchen boxes are unpacked and I still have a bunch of shelves and 2 large cabinets with nothing in them. Since part of my adventure includes buying a new dining set and China hutch, I may have some extra crystal that I can store instead of jam packing a China hutch so tight you can't see the pieces. I hated that in my old China hutch. I've been shopping for the dining room but haven't found what I want....one more store in Town to shop then I'm hiring a furniture maker.

Here is a pic of my wall hanging. It's just a flimsy right now. I'm going to leave it this shape. It's all epp.

R-sea 11-16-2019 05:32 AM

Very nice queenbarbiej, I see boxes then stars , colours go well together too

granky 11-16-2019 06:34 AM

Queenbarbiej...that is pretty! The 3D look is always a winner...and you did an excellent job! Congrats on getting your wall hanging done so soon...still thinking about mine. Found out I'm going to have two more great great grandchildren (both boys), so have two baby quilts to think about too....

Teen 11-16-2019 07:57 AM

Love your WH, Queen, very pretty and valentines'y....

Congratulations on great grand-babies, granky. So exciting... are they twins or different momma's?

granky 11-16-2019 10:12 AM

Teen...different Mothers....and they will be great greats, number ten and eleven....

Rumbols 11-16-2019 01:07 PM

Love your wall hanging queenbarbiej. So pretty and pink. Looks like you concurred the 'Y' seams. Great job. I am still thinking about mine, haven't even started yet.
Congratulations on great great grand-babies, granky. Wow, you have a large family. Lots of fun.

Rhonda 11-24-2019 01:10 PM

There are no limits!! Everything and anything is acceptable!! When I did swaps before this one I got tired of all these questions of is my item ok if it's over the size by a couple of inches? Is it okay if I use multi media? Is it okay to use embroidery etc.

So I made this one open to all things possible. LOL Just make sure it's not smaller than a mug rug and not larger than a lap quilt. LOL those vary in size so I guess you get the idea it really doesn't matter how big as long as it's not a queen size quilt.

Have fun and enjoy the process!! It's about having a blast and enjoying time with quilty friends!!

Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!
