Thank you, Jill. I have so many thank you notes to send out that it will take me a month of Sundays to catch up. Honestly, when we walked around the day after, it looked like Armageddon. It took so long for the mind to understand what it was seeing ... you'd look at a bit of this or that and wonder what the heck it was. There was something in our driveway and I kept wondering what it was. Then my son recognized it as a planter from a restaurant about a half mile away. Keep those prayers coming for all of us. We have a long way to go. By the way if anyone is interested, do a search on YouTube of Long Beach, NY (not New Jersey) for a look at the devastation. There is one chilling video sped up of the ocean coming in.

First, Krystyna, I thank GOD that you and your family are safe. The other things will come along. You are a very strong woman and I feel blessed to have you as a friend.
Next, I need to post a picture of my SP package for November.

There were so many items, I couldn't get it all in one picture. It was a great package. Thanks, Laquita, I loved everything.

I am thrilled to hear from Krystyna. This board is such a wonderful place and I have grown to care deeply for all of my friends here. It brings tears to my eyes just reading about your experience. I am so glad that you are in an apartment and things are at least starting to come together. Keep in mind that that long road ahead is paved with friends, loving thoughts, best wishes and most of all, prayers.

Please keep on keepin' on. It's mind boggling and frustrating and maddening and all that, but if you keep up with your Xanax you will survive:)....seriously tho, let us know when you want us to start bombing you with fabric notions etc. I think maybe I've got a few duplicate items around here that I could forward on.

I know it'll be a while, but maybe a small hand project even would help restore you to an even keel. So glad all 4 of you and the pups are fine.

Wow! I came home on a gloomy day to find this package! Quilting book, quilting magazine, magic scarf (wearing it today!), Christmas panel, Christmas scissors, embroidery floss, cookies, dyeing paper, tape measure, adorable chicken pin cushion, a pattern, two nice fabric lengths, and cookies!

Thank you again, Regina!

Krystyna so glad you were able to post here and to let us know that you and your family and pups are fine. I cannot imagine the immensity of the loss you and others in that area experienced but my prayers are continuous for you and your family. Material sthings are just that...material (no pun intended). Yes it is a long way to recoveery but we are here for you and whatever you need please ask us!

Hi Krystyna! We are sooo glad to know you are ok as well as your family! Just had to come to your threads to see if anyone had heard from you!! We miss you so and are so glad you have shelter and are in an apt.!! I have been praying every day personally for you and your family as well as the NYers and NJites! I'm ready to send you some stash to get going, even if the work is only on a 'mini' basis!! A hobby will keep your mind focused and bring joy in what you create! You're too talented to not be sewing my friend!! Believe me, it will help you soooo much!!! Send me a PM whenever it's convenient! n2

p.s. I agree with what Quiltnut4ever said in her post above mine -- material things are replaceable!! Praise God you and your family survived and were spared!! May He direct your steps each day and meet your every need!! He is all that we need -- now and forever!! We need nothing else but HIM!! May the Lord draw you and yours close to Him. n2

Krystyna, So very happy to have you back here in person and to hear that things are starting to look up a tad, but most importantly that you have your beloved family nearby, and that there were not serious injuries to any of you. At the risk of being a copy cat, please DO let us know when you are ready for packages, and don't be shy stating what you need or want most. More daily prayers from me....to you and yours. We have missed you tremendously.
