I love illusion quilts. I want to make the box one where you can see into it. My someday list. lol. This one is beautiful I love blender fabrics,I have started collecting them. You received a pretty one. I got some lavender before and it is wonderful. That's a cute ribbon too. This is a wonderful group to swap with. As far as I know we have always had everyone come through with their swap. And the runners have been great everyone of them.

Well.... another fantastic swap... only me left to receive and I know it is on its way so I have a surprise to look forward to.

I will be posting the thread for the next swap this weekend after I have read all the suggestions to come up with the theme.

I loved the last theme as it pushed us all to try something different and it is good to push the boundaries!

An yes, Mary is right, we have never had a "no show". We have a wonderful group here and I love hosting - it is a pleasure..... and so wonderful to make such fabulous new friends!

So, if you have any other ideas for a theme either post here or PM me before the end of the weekend. I am going to find something really challenging - maw haw haw!

This being my first swap with this group compounds that too. I really am glad I finally looked and decided to join- now, if only your pkg would arrive I could breathe a sigh of relief and look forward to the next one. :shock: I love the way you are running this swap- giving us time - life sure interferes sometimes.

I am so sorry... I must have had a brain freeze due to the awful virus I have just had... still getting over it, but much better then I was. I have been putting down people as received when they have sent and vice versa!

Okay..... so... Marion, Sue and myself are still to receive, but I know they are all in the mail, so... just waiting for posties around the globe to do their jobs!

Now... as for the next theme - I am thinking of doing pairs or opposites as a theme (see what a I mean below);-

Stars or Stripes
Night or Day
Curly or Straight
Bright or Dull

Personally I really like the Stars or Stripes one...as I can see a whole host of possibilities in the quilting world.... what do you think ladies?

Hope you are starting to feel better Caroline! I like the "either" "or" idea! It is soooo cold in Northern Ontario - our windchill tonight is minus 45 Celsius! So I'm staying indoors until it warms up a bit! Have been sitting here browsing table runner ideas today, and I'm getting a pretty long list of runners I want to make! lol

stars and stripes seem to easy to think of something . the other three will make us think . Curly and straight , that is a curly one. One of the last three for me Caroline

Get well soon Caroline. I also have the creepy crap.I got a antibiotic as soon as I felt it coming on. It's my 4th day and still very sore. I also like the opposites . theme. I never heard of that one. Always like something new to try. Sue I was just on Pinterest today looking at a bunch of runners. It does inspire me. Do you know what degree in firenhite 45 celsius is? Sorry for my bad spelling.

well lawsonmugs, I had to google the conversion from Celsius to Fahrenheit! Yikes! Minus 45 Celsius is minus 49 Fahrenheit!!!!!!! Oh my freaking heaven! My 2 little dogs have decided they don't need to go out to pee nearly as often in this temperature! lol I have finally had days where I didn't need to use the snow shovel though! :)

My runner arrived on Friday while I was away so I got it today. My thanks go to Pamela for this lovely batik log cabin. It just fits nicely on my table too.....and the extras! Hand lotion, pins and a blade for my rotary cutter.

Oh my, oh my! Just received my mail, & there was an envelope from Rosalyn (r-sea)! I'm literally drooling over the beautiful table runner! and the goodies! Have to be very careful of the drooling, because I've already broken open the candy bag! lol Thank you so much Rosalyn! I think I bought a wave ruler years ago, but didn't have much success. Thinking I better pull it out & try again, now that I can see how it "should" look! I so love this swap!

Lovely runner M-fay, There is so many different ways the log cabin design can be used . Even the one Sue received was made with that in mind .
Glad you like the runner Sue, It is the second time I have used the ruler and making up my own design was my challenge for this month

These runners are so pretty. Lots of thought and work went into this months swaps. It shows too, they have all been so pretty.
