October Fabric Postcard Swap - Wacky Holidays
 

Sign-ups begin for the October Wacky Holiday Swap. You will be making ONE Fabric Postcard. So choose a holiday from list below and design a postcard around it. NOTE: You have a month to send the card! Don't worry about actual date.

My swaps are open to all levels of sewing. For a tutorial on how to make fabric postcards, please refer to my post in tutorials How to Make a Fabric Postcard. Please post pictures of the postcards you receive.

*Cards must measure approx 4 x 6
*Must predominantly be sewed and quilted. Embroidery by hand or machine is also welcome.
*Must have some type of finished edge.

I'm in again! October might be a crazy month for me (I am spending two weeks in Colorado for work training, plus some other stuff), but I always have time for a postcard!

Not sure which day I'll do yet, but I'll need to find out if my partner minds Halloween stuff, just in case...

October Postcard Swap
 

I received my postcard today and how clever is this. I just love it. And I got a really nice tissue holder with it. Love the fabric. What a wonderful swap. Thanks so much. This was from Linda Kwyltaholic and it looks like it is the first one received

I have that same coffee bean fabric and I really like it. However, I love it in combination with the other fabric used for the tissue holder!

My card is completed, so I will get it mailed by Friday (just have to wake up early enough to go to the post office before they close). I'm leaving town for almost two weeks, so can't put it off!

I mailed my postcard out yesterday

Made it to the post office this afternoon, so the post card is on its way! (Phew... most my October obligations are completed, now I just have to fill my suitcase with my sewing machine and all the stuff I pre-cut so I can sew on my nights in the hotel next week.)

I mailed out my postcard to Dove yesterday!

I received a card for "Count Your Buttons Day" from cuppy yesterday :) The women on the card are definitely more stylish than I am! She also included the most adorable fabric with jack-o-lanterns.
