This swap is for ONE Fabric Postcard.
*Cards must be appx. 4 x 6
*Have some type of sewing or quilting.
*Have some type of finished edge.

Be creative, try out new skills, play with embellishments, etc. Have fun! Google or Pinterest fabric postcards for lots of "eye candy" and/ or tutorials.

THEME: One Word (sender's choice) or, a word that means something special to your partner. Your choice.

The rules are simple. You will pm me when you mail your postcard off and when you receive your postcard. And, you will afford your partner the same courtesy. You will mail your postcard with the correct postage. If in doubt, have it weighed by the post office. And please, make sure your name address, and board name and your partners name and address are on the back of the postcard.

I have a box of "fabric postcard" supplies that has pretty
much everything I need for making them.
Only problem is I don't know where to locate the box in my
sewing/craft junk.

Ladies, I would like to introduce you all to CookieZenmilk. In January, I am going to pass on the reins to the Postcard Swap to Cookie. She is a long time member of the Quiltboard, a great swapper and an experienced swap coordinator. I will also continue to swap postcards will you all. I am hoping to move onto some other swap experiences next year. (Which I need to receive permission from the coordinators before I post about anything.) I think Cookie's going to do a great job and I'm excited to see what direction she'll take the Postcard Swap in. I hope you all will be supportive of her. I know I will be one of her greatest fans. I LOVE our Postcard Swap!

I do have a question for Cookie.

Will you be tossing in some "wacky" holiday options? Those
were so totally my favorites to make.

I am off to a good start for the October Postcard swap. Have my idea planned and have started to gather the bits and pieces I need to make the project.

I have finished my October postcard and I will be ready to mail as soon as our swap partners are selected. I enjoyed doing this one as I could get more creative with this theme.

Maybe being early next month will make up for me being so late in September. Hopefully I am getting on top of my health problem.

I'm in for this month too. Congrats to CookieZenmilk for the swaps starting in Jan.

I worked on my "word" postcard, too.

You are some serious early birds this month. I will not be early. I'm leaving next week to visit my grandchildren. One who was just born on the 22nd. I can't wait to see the newest little princess. I have been trying to finish all the things my daughter requested for her. But, I will not be mailing late. I will get home in time to give my postcard my full attention.

Congratulations Judith, on your new baby Grand daughter, how lovely. Grand Daughters are in short supply for us, we have mostly Grandsons.

I am hoping that my September postcard reaches you before you leave. Do you want me to go ahead and post the photo of what I have sent you just in case you don't receive it before you leave.

Anyone have ideas they want to share for one word?

Thank you Betty, I have one grandson and now two granddaughters. But, since they are only 15 months apart, I'm glad this little surprise baby was a girl. My daughter will be able to really re-use a lot from big sister. It will be a blessing to them financially.

Oh, and, I would love it if you could post a photo for me. I can't wait to see your beautiful work.

I don't want to give away what I did but I had a fabric print I love and I looked up the meaning of the object and was thrilled with the find.
