Hello folks! I've just sent SheriR a request to join the group. It will be my first time participating in a Candy Swap. This comes at a great time for me as I've begun cutting and collecting 2.5" squares only a couple of months ago and haven't gotten too far along. This will help immensely. Question, does it matter to the group if I send some older fabrics in my stash along with more current ones?

Janice, Welcome to the group! As long as it is cotton! we love older prints. I used up a lot of my old prints making candy.

my Black and white polka dot top is almost finished. I will take picture when it is done. Candy will go in the mail in the tomorrow, along with my creepy crawly 6.5 squares! Oh how I love the summer time swaps!

SheriR, so sorry for your loss.

I've cut up all my fabrics and have bagged them so I'm practically all set. My fingers are crossed that Sheri's gotten my pm. Understandably, I haven't heard back from Sheri re: being added to the group. It's probably low, low priority for her at this time. I'm just going on the assumption I'll be included. I think I'll be back in Texas next week. I have mixed feelings about it. I really don't want to leave my MIL but my niece is moving in and will take super care of her. And, I do miss my hubby AND all my sewing stuff......

Sheri, when you get a chance, can you post a list of who all's packages you have received? Then we do not have to bug you individually.

I'm usually right on top of my list. I am just still in Idaho. My two day trip turned into 5 weeks I hope to get my hubby to make me a list of Candy packages that have arrived at my house. I've missed seeing them but my hubby assures me each package is safe in a box in his office! I should be home about the 13th. I may spend a day just looking at all y'alls candy!

Hey ladies and fellow Candy Swappers!!! I just got off the phone with my sweet hubby in Texas. He went through my box of packages and read me the names of those I've received. Check the list and if it needs corrections let me know. I SHOULD be home the 14th. Deadline to have to me is the 15th. I know that's just next week but I hope to stick to my posted deadlines in case I have to make a mad dash back to Idaho. It is in my realm of possibility, my mother-in-law is frail and 89 years old. So sweet though. We're spending time with me reading to her a book she's wanted to read, "The White Indian Boy," and "The White Indian Boy Returns." Fasinating true story of long ago. ANYWAY, check the list and I'll try to keep up here as best I can. LOVE YOU ALL!!!
