kristen0112, I love your blocks. They are adorable!

kristen0112 07-27-2012 04:15 AM

Thanks everybody!

Annaquilts 07-28-2012 04:36 PM

I just finnished the blocks and I am now working on a twist. Those 3 1/2 in. blocks are so cute. How many people are doing 1 or 2 twists?

rwquilts 07-28-2012 06:15 PM

Can't wait to see them Anna. So far I have received 5 sets of twists and I made 2 sets. The tiny blocks are super cute. :)

rwquilts 07-31-2012 06:15 PM

I just want to remind everyone that your blocks must be in the mail to me by Aug. 15. Fast approaching now.

Annaquilts, your mailbox is FULL! :)

Annaquilts 07-31-2012 10:52 PM

rwquilts I emptied it. So sorry! I am working on my last twist but everytime something comes in the way. I hope to finnish this coming week and get them out.

craft phanatic 08-02-2012 03:56 PM

I will be sending min out in the beginning of next week. I have them done but I have to work a double shift tomorrow and a double shift Sunday so I won't have the time the next few days to go to the PO. Working third shift is bad enough but when they throw doubles at me I am no good for getting anything else done!!!

rwquilts 08-02-2012 06:10 PM

What do you do Craft?

Annaquilts 08-02-2012 09:30 PM

Mine are done and waiting to be packaged and shipped. Maybe this weekend.

Muse&Sew 08-03-2012 06:48 AM

Mailing my package today! :)

I work at Hershey Choco factory. The only time I get a day off is if I have a vaca day scheduled. They shut so many plans and cut so many jobs that the ones left have to work 7 days a week and sometimes doubles. Pay is good but treatment is not. Anyway, enough complaining from me. It pays the bills and supports the addiction!!

Annaquilts 08-04-2012 10:52 PM

Sets and twists were mailed out today.

Paying bills and supporting fabric addictions is important for sure! :)

I do not have pictures of the ones I made for the twister, flower bud and beach umbrella, but here are the 6 1/2 in. sets. I hope you like them. They are enroute to be swapped. Can't wait to see all the blocks you ladies made. Anyone else have pictures?

rwquilts 08-08-2012 07:02 AM

I received Anna's super cute blocks last night. :) It's fun waiting for the mailman these days...

Patricia Faye 08-08-2012 09:54 AM

Anna, your blocks are adorable!

lfstamper 08-08-2012 12:33 PM

I LOVE the GNOMES! I REALLY want a ROAMINNG one for my garden, Ronda....:-)

Annaquilts 08-08-2012 12:50 PM

For some reason several of us made gnomes so hopefully everyone will get atleast one to put in their garden. I am a sucker for gnomes and fairies along with flowers, pinwheels and watering cans. the garden theme is really a fun one to make blocks for. The next paper piece theme is winter right? That should be fun too. Lots of snowmen, sleds and snowflakes.

Also, just a heads up...Patrice has approved me doing a Winter/Holidays PP swap so I'll be posting that in the next month...only on this one, I'm going to open up the size to anything from 3" to 7" finished size which will give everyone a LOT more options for finding patterns...it will also make Linda Causee's 365 Foundation Quilt Blocks very do-able! Anyhoo...just a tease on the next swap. :)

I just found the post Ronda did on the next swap. So it is both winter/Holiday and a variety of sizes. Yeahh! I am collecting patterns already.

I've never tried PPing, but would like to get the pattern for the owl, as DD wants me to make an owl wallhanging for a friend. (Gotta love the 'hey, Mom' projects! LOL!)

The owl came from Right patterns.
