If you Google (pincushions) you will find all kinds of patterns and ideas.

Useful pincushions that are made from any of the following:
material; yarn; recycled or plastic, cardboard, wood, glass, tin, ceramic containers. Stuffing can be cotton, polyester, wool fabric or yarn, sawdust, crushed walnut shells, sand or rice. Let's keep the expenses below $5.00 plus shipping

Sign up will end Aug 2, 2010, after that you will be matched with a swap partner. You must send me a PM in order to get on the signup list.

Mailing deadline is Sept. 15, 2010.

Size can be any size.

Label (optional) if possible attach some kind of label so you partner will remember who made the special pincushion.

Communication: if something comes up and you are unable to meet the deadline for mailing or you must drop out let me know as soon as possible. Keep in communication with your swap partner if you have any questions. Be sure to thank your partner.

Please PM me if you would like to join in the fun. If you are willing to swap international, please indicate that in your PM . Thanks Barbsbus

How do you PM someone?

M.I.Late 07-18-2010 07:58 AM

Click on their name above their avatar. It will take you to their personal info. There is a PM box there. Click on it.

Butterflyspain 07-18-2010 08:04 AM

OR you can go to the top of the page and there above is Private Messages. Click on that, same thing, different method.

If you want to I will swap with you before the real swap starts. Send me a PM.

Mrs Nat 07-19-2010 08:47 AM

I'll send you a PM to sign up; but would like to suggest, if you can do it without it being an over-whelming task, ask each "swapper" what kind of pincushions they make and try to match them with a swap partner who makes some other kind???? Just a thought.

barbsbus 07-19-2010 08:48 AM

I thought of that too, but I think the best way to relay this info is for the partners to sort this out when they exchange snail mail addys, Thanks for your idea

I wouldn't care if my partner makes the same kind as me it will still be different. Different fabric, different decorations and different hands that made it. :D :D :D
