Your butterfly arrived in my mailbox today. Thanks to all of you.

I have also engaged some of my friends to help me. From them I have received two log cabins, a Jacob's ladder, and a rail fence. I decided to make another one; it is a fuschia friendship star with a green frog in the center square with a flower hanging out of its mouth.

So far, I have nine. I believe there are seven more promised. Keep them coming, and tell your friends to mail one to me.

I would love to be there when Roserita opens this package.

Well, I had my block done, but it looked kinda big and this after measuring and remeasuring. Anyway, way too big so am making it over and being more careful. Have to quit quilting after midnight - get too sleepy and can't concentrate. :roll:
Should have it in the mail tom. before class starts.

Ok here is my block. The color is off. The pinks are true pinks and the white is really a winter white not yellow. Anyway, my version of the Christian Cross.

Yippee! I got NorBana's in the mail today. I'm getting used to these appearing in my mailbox, and I like it.

All the quilt blocks are wonderful. When the package arrives, all of you will hear me yelling all the way from Northern North Dakota. Thank you all for your generous respose. I asked for a quilt block pattern and I am getting all these pretty blocks already made. I hope someday I can return the favor.

Also thank you all for your prayers. My DD is doing fine . Surgery showed one small lump at stage one. The lymph modes were not involved.
She is seeing a onogoligst to see if further treatment is neccesary. She has returned to work, and is feeling fine.

A friend of mine just came by and brought two pink and white blocks; they are both Churn Dash. One is light pink and the other one is a brighter pink.

This makes thirteen.

Hopefully mine will arrivetom. or Sat.

Roserita - glad to hear about your DD. We will still keep her (and yours) in our prayers.

The postman knocked on the door. I was all ready to receive the bundle and let out that yell that you could hear all over the country. He needed a signature from me for something else.

But, there was one block. It is so pretty; you can see the picture of it on this thread. Thank you sewjoyce.

I have this little portable design board that will only hold six. As the blocks come in, I switch them around and add the new one.

The postman knocked on the door again today. Two days in a row. Yippee! I'm thinking I got a bunch of blocks. It was a large package from my sister in Arkansas.

I did get a pieced heart from KGoodhand in Canada. It is hot pink and white. Thank you for participating. That is number fifteen.

I wish you could see them all at once. I hope Roserita will post a picture when she gets the quilt made.

You posted a picture on this thread on August 25. Did you mail it on that day? That would have been ten days ago. Your envelope did not have a postmark. Another of the donors from Indiana is concerned about her block because it has not arrived yet.

Well, it SEEMS like 2 weeks ago :lol: :lol: I mailed it either the 25th or the 26th -- don't remember which. But still, that's a long time to get from my house to your house....

I got one from Maine in three days. Figure that one out. One from Arizona in five days. One from Canada in seven days.

Well, well. My husband came in the door just now saying, "Quilt Number One, Quilt Number Two." Two more today. That makes seventeen. We're almost there.

One more for our pink and white project for Roserita. It is from JRSAY in Pennsylvania. It looks like a star in the center and tulips in the corners. This makes eighteen.

There's one that's been floating between Indiana and Mississippi for about two weeks and has not found its way here yet. I can't figure these things out.
