"Quilters are piece makers" or your own sewing theme wall hanging
 

Got the go ahead for another mini project, a wall hanging and the theme is; "quilters are piece makers" or your own sewing or quilting related theme.
These will be made for our sewing room / space / or spot. finish size 12" x 14, 16, or 18".
Be sure to put a sleeve or triangles on the back for hanging.
Use misc fabrics, batting and embellish to your hearts delight.
Sign and date the back of your wall hanging. Have fun. :thumbup:

Nancia- I think I read that you're going to TX. We were there Feb and March....first Galveston, then Padre Island...people are very friendly. Also, we went to San Antonio 9 years ago for youngest sons graduation (Air Force).

yes, i am very excited about going to texas! i have a son, ddil, and dgd who will be 1 on aug 3rd, and a dd who is considerably older. my 3rd child lives in nyc and will be flying in to join us as a surprise he and i have engineered. i'm sure we will all have a good time, i also have a passel of friends i can't wait to see! yeehaw!!:D

cherrio you make great blocks as i have seen your work in the boomerang swaps. it's similar in concept but you will be making it sewing themed this time. i remember in one of the boom swaps one person sent out sewing themed fabric and wanted sewing themed, embellished blocks back. i'm not sure if you were in my group then. so come play with us. stretch or increase your quilting skill set in a fun atmosphere.
