Hello Ladies! I have blocks sitting here that need to be mailed, they're coming! I haven't been online in AGES, and broke not only my foot but my sewing machine as well. Egads, luck just isn't my friend lately. Anyhow, I think I will have to discontinue the block giveaway due to the fact that I am sooo diorganized, the postage is kicking my butt. I don't want to let anyone down! I feel that I have burned so many bridges unintentially due to life getting in the way. This saddens me, as I have met soo many kind people on this board. MaidinMaine will continue to hostess this swap, and I will attempt to assist in everyway possible. Who wants their 6" blocks returned to them? I will happily send them back. My appologies ladies, really. I did try to do something fun. As always, I wish you all nothing but the best!

BRT, I think you have done a lot, getting this swap rolling and helping to keep it going. Life does get in the way sometimes, but we all understand. Thank you for all you have done.

And thanks also to MadeinMaine for being willing and able to take over when BRT needed help!

 to both of you. You are facilitating a lot of new friendships. THANKS!

Oh I love this pattern, its one of those I think is beyond me yet. But I drool when I look at it. One of the popular quilt magazines had a quilt in this pattern a few years back done in RED and White .......definately on my bucket list.

Sorry it took a couple days to get this posted. My first pictures were really bad so I had to find a different background from what I usually use. CyndiH made me this from a pattern called the Road to Oklahoma.

JacquelineVH 08-02-2010 02:48 PM

what an awesome block!!!!

You can always scan your block into your computer. Save it to a place you can fine. When you hit "reply" below someone's post, there'll be a place that says "File Attachments." Click on browse and navigate through there to where you block is saved. Click "Open" and you will return to the message box. You can type in a name or comment in the long box to the left of the Browse button.

lab fairy 08-02-2010 03:08 PM

Make sure you have the file saved to your hard drive before trying to attach. I've used my scanner and uploaded to web servers that weren't mine without thinking about it and had the image "disappear" on me. What it really needed was a permanent name to link to it. I hope this helps.
