Thanks Lynnie good idea.
Im not sure if you have these patterns but look what Ive found.

You may have seen these gals floating around the internet on Pinterest, the Quilting Board, Sew We Quilt, with a few appearances over on Quiltscapes;

Web-Goddess gives a nice clear set of free illustrated instructions for sewing up a set of funky chicken pincushions

A traditional take on the same basic idea has the chicken made up of log cabin quilt squares. You can find a free pattern for the log cabin chicken pincushion at Quilting Works

Well Im exhausted. Been here awhile going through some links and saving heaps of stuff. It is raining here so I had nothing much better to do. lol.

I have made a new folder on my PC with a few sub-fodders. Have folders for BOM, ROM, Runners, Rug mugs, Potholders and a few more. Inspiration is flowing and now I am behind with everything else in the house. lol I might even get to sew tomorrow.

One thing I would like to share is a BOM from "Lecien". Have you all seen it? Just wonderful. Instead of applique Im going to embroider it...one day soon I hope. All the 12 months are ready to be downloaded. Here is the link.
