Will still do 'Louisiana', but not 'Baby Bud' - that was for the spring swap. Haven't decided on 2nd one yet.

I haven't picked out my fabric yet, but I have both dull repos and brights.

I want to make the red, white and blue blocks also. Just don't know which ones to do.

I would also like to be part of this swap, but I'm rather inexperienced and have only done 9-patch and just learned to do triangles. From one of the posts, it sounded like there should not be any duplicates. Any ideas or opinions. Should I sit this one out?

Nothing wrong with red/white/blue nine-patches as far as I'm concerned. I think they would look great in the patriotic quilt -- I like the one in your avatar.

I'm also new, but I am having a great time with these swaps! Can I join? I would like to do a pin wheel block, is that ok? :oops: It's Forth of July-ish. Does it need to be solid colors? Or can it be Red with white stars? Or blue with white stripes?

The only color requirement is that it be red/white/blue. Solids and/or prints.
