thanks moonwork42029
got it now, generally would be no problem, but I am afraid that I would not be able to do some of the squares because they would be to difficult, will continue to watch to site, interested in the squares people want made and then maybe the decision to join would be easier

TPr9258.... after looking at your profile I doubt you'd have any problems doing most things in life! Wow... thank you for your past service as a veteran and as a nurse!

Jump on in...the very worst that could happen is you admit a block is too difficult and ask for suggestions or ask the sender if they wish to have a different block or mail their's back with a big mea cupla ... no harm no fouls.

At least that's how I'm looking at it and I don't do hard blocks by any means :)

I decided on a nice and simple pattern from Quilter's Cache!

To clarify.
You pick out your pattern and material. You send your pattern and material to the others. They make your block with your pattern and your material. When you get the package with everyone else's pattern and material....you make what they want with THEIR pattern and material. so you would make 12 - 16 blocks according to what each member wants.

moonwork42029 02-01-2015 07:06 PM

@urgodschild2 ... please re-clarify....

In the "new rules" all packages have to come to you and you distribute them ... we don't send anything to other swappers directly.... Per post #5

Not meaning to be a pain but I don't want to go back to being confuse...which I am heading that way.

I really thought I had it all figured out.

I want to do the Plaited Block. I am thinking of red and black. I would send the red and black material and you all would add the white. But I could decide on another color. LOL.

Yess, You send all your fabric to me. You make a bag up for each member with your pattern and material. YOu put all of them into an envelop and it cost about $6.10 to mail it. Put each members name on each bag or not. It is up to you. If you don't put any names on the bag it is faster for me to separate them into each person's bag but it doesn't matter to me. You also include another priority envelop with the stamps on it with your address so I can send you back the blocks you will make for everyone. Then when you finish making everyones blocks you send them back to me in a priority envelop and another envelop inside so I can send you back your finished blocks. I hope this helps all of you.
You do not send anything to other swappers.

this is easy for me.

I have looked at the Quilters cache and even though they have the one yellow button etc. to tell you if they are easy or hard. Some of the one yellow buttons are difficult to do and some of the 2 buttons are easy. So tell us what you want to do and we can all decide if it is ok.
