Maybe a pattern and some fabric to make the pattern. patterns and books are always nice  Scissors or clippers.. Nice glass head pins...

Mousie 10-27-2009 07:09 PM

well, this mouse has been busy. I have been reading up on my SS Swap receiver, and not only is it fun and interesting, but I have gotten so many new tips, and saw something I have to do for myself in the coming year!
Wow, it's like I am already getting pressies
I am such a mush-mouse... :D

NAUGHTY: I didn't wash laundry today, bc it rained all day, and my dryer is broke. We do have a laundrymat though.

NICE: I have decided on all my SS gifts and starting to work on them.

Is it naughty or nice to be having soooo much fun?

sandpat 10-28-2009 05:30 AM

Awww little mouse, you know having fun is always NICE!

Mountainquilter 10-28-2009 06:36 AM

I agree sandpat, it is always nice when you are having fun.

I have my package already to send out.

Waiting each day in anticipation of what I might get. This is the fun part :)

trupeach 10-28-2009 07:14 AM

I did it :D I bought the gifts and have a theme which is not Christmas but winterish. I have the FQ she wanted so I am set to go. I am so excited I hope she likes it, now once it is delived ( I have to order on line) I will wrap them up tie them with a bow and ship it on it's merry way. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!

Esqmommy 10-28-2009 07:18 AM

Hey tru - just pm'd you!

I'm almost done with my SS... I know what she likes in terms of fabrics, so yesterday I went to my LQS and said "I need to buy some FQ's for a SS and she likes """>>>fabrics""& quot; - I know very little about this type. He (yes, the LQS is owned by a husband and wife) is a total """>>>fabrics""& quot; fan and he took me over to the section and helped me chose 5 that he said were either unusual, or must haves for the """>>>fabrics""& quot; collector! So, I hope I did well for my person... I'm a little nervous since you don't want to send them something they don't like, right??!!!

sandpat 10-28-2009 07:45 AM

I know...I know!!!!! Its "quilting" fabrics...right???!!!!

imjustme 10-28-2009 07:51 AM

I was having a hard time finding the fabrics that were requested. I was starting to get nervous about not finding it. I was talking to OMAK about it and now OMAK is helping me out in that department. I will put it was from the both of us lol.

aww, I hate that fabrics cost so much in other countries...sounds like they need new RULERS, lol...land of all great quilting laws...
-fabric for everyone
-tools in every pot
-no home without a sewing machine and quilting frame
-threads and notions a national must
-lowest prices available

Wow, if i find out where Lurkingdom is, and go there and get elected to be their new MouseQueen, ligia...you'll never have to worry about fabrics and such again. :D

charismah 10-28-2009 08:59 AM

Poor little mousie's crown would probably crush her though...we'll have to think of another title other than "Queen"...and we'll have to whip her up another type of regal dress....**thinking***

I'll take Princess Mousie, thank you. Patti be good to me, and I'll let you open the new shipments when they come in. You will be frisked before leaving the royal fabric room though. Of course you will be paid in fabrics for this special privilege. Princess Mousie is not stingy

sandpat 10-29-2009 05:19 AM

OK...I guess its a small tiara and the we'll add some sparkle to the dress you have on...you are waving that "royal stick"...whats that thing called??? I'm not sure about that frisking part...makes me think you don't really trust me  I'm gonna have to think about that....may even have to have a talk with the royal "taster"...you know the one who makes sure theres no De-Con in your food??????? Maybe you should rethink that frisking part.

You can trust me to open the shipments- can I be an assistant ???
You all are having way too much fun, must have lots of extra time to tease.
Well, am off to work in the "real" world, although "lurkingdom" sounds like much more fun.

hmmm, out of self preservation...here's the deal, you keep all fabrics you keep in your pockets for payment, and no talking to the 'royal taster'...he's quite busy...(going to get tape for royal tasters...um, never mind tape,...getting ear plugs for him!)

sure sapdoggie, the more the merrier. It will give us all practice on opening SS boxes...and keep us out of trouble,...maybe...if a fracas over fabric doesn't break out...then
PATTI...i will have to wave my magic needle-wand, and order the peasants to cease and desist fighting over fabrics, lol!
There's plenty for everybody.

Mousie 10-29-2009 06:04 AM

NAUGHTY: I am still on pc.

NICE: I am getting off in a minute. Shopped just a tad more yesterday  and hankering to go get busy
Wouldn't you like to know, doing what???? 8)

sandpat 10-29-2009 06:29 AM

Now little mousie...how do you know that I'm not just pocketing all that "extra" fabric to give it all away to the poor quilters who can't afford to buy fabric???? That makes me a little like Robin Hood, doncha' think?

Mousie 10-29-2009 06:44 AM
